The Alliance was born out of the persisting need to re-echo, unite and synergize the individual voices, passions, diversity, creativity and strengths of of Nigeria for national re-birth and development; as a response to the clamour for equal opportunity to the commonwealth of our land; while promoting the spirit of , , and as one people with a common heritage and destiny [the Nigerian-Dream]; hoping to facilitate a integration of positive values and interest from all ethnic groups to achieve a “Nigerian culture”; organizing, mobilizing and creating awareness about the ideals, power, possibilities, rights and responsibilities vested in the person of the “office of the Citizen of the Federal Republic of Nigeria”, as guaranteed within the framework of the Federal Constitution, as amended. Citizens Alliance, Nigeria was founded on June 3rd, 2018, the Alliance is convened on behalf of the people, dedicated to the cause of the people, and for the people’s civic business of nation building & development, and it is to be sustained and owned by the collective will of the good people of Nigeria through designated trustees. Citizens Alliance is, and shall remain a , , of for national rebirth from a country of divisions to a united of empowered . The total empowerment of the , equal opportunity to the CommonWealth of our nation, and the enthronement of the rights and responsibilities of the "Citizen” is our existential objective, solemn mission and perpetual focus. Now more than ever, it is apparent that the burgeoning divisions that stall our national progress as one people, has in times past and will in future impede any attempt by any sub-group to secede. So, it’s high time we laid aside every divisive weight, and every element of discord and retrogression, and began to unite for our common development as Nigerians. Ethnic and religious divisions only made it easier for usurpers to exploit and divide us as a people. We will be stronger together as one people, to deliever on our natural place as the pride of Africa, the bastion of hope for all black people, and an eminent member of the comity of nations. Arise O' compatriots & occupy your civic Office.! This is not the time to , it is time to . It is time to say never again. Never again would will allow corruption and injustice be excused on the altar of tribalism and religion. Yes, never again shall crime, suffering and oppression be known as the emblem of Nigeria. It is said that when injustice become law, resistance becomes a duty, and injustice to one, is injustice to all. So, Citizens Alliance, Nigeria. will stand-up for the rights of the citizenry above any other interest, demand accountability and transparency from public office, in the spirit and letters of unity and faith, peace and progress for the people of Nigeria. The seed of a greater Nigeria is hereby sown. This herald the beginning of the death of the current Nigeria ridden with tribal, religious and ethnic sentiments, and a deliberate attempt to build a new Nigeria, of one people, one culture and equal opportunity. It shall spring forth and blossom as a nation of equal citizens. No tribe, ethnic group or religion is a citizen of Nigeria. So, no tribe or religion should impede our progress as a people.
