The 2026 Abuja Business and Investment Expo (ABIE 3.0) has come to a successful close, leaving behind powerful policy conversations, strategic business connections and renewed optimism for investment-led economic growth in Nigeria's Capital, Abuja.
The three-day Expo, which ended on Friday, August 7, 2026, was held at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre, Abuja, and brought together policymakers, investors, entrepreneurs, development partners and other key players within Nigeria’s business and investment ecosystem.
A major highlight of the Expo was the calibre of its Keynote Speakers, whose presentations provided strategic perspectives on capital mobilisation, economic growth, women’s leadership and the future of inclusive enterprise development.
On the opening day, the Director-General of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Dr. Emomotimi Agama, delivered a compelling keynote address on “Building Nigeria’s Capital Investment as a Catalyst for Economic Growth.”
His presentation provided important insights into the role of the capital market in mobilising investments, strengthening businesses and supporting sustainable economic development.
The Expo’s closing day, specially designated as Women’s Impact Day, equally provided a powerful platform for advancing the conversation on women’s leadership and economic participation.
The Deputy Chief of Staff, Office of the President, Republic of Ghana, Hon. Nana Oye Bampoe Addo, delivered a resounding keynote address titled “Shaping the Future; Her Voice, Her Vision, Her Legacy." Her address underscored the strategic importance of women’s voices, leadership and enterprise in shaping sustainable economic and social development.
The event also witnessed a significant intervention by the Acting Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the Abuja Enterprise Agency (AEA), Dr. Chudi Ugwuada-Ezirigwe, whose remark on the importance of women in entrepreneurship and economic development quickly gained traction among participants.
