The APC 1 Million Solidarity Votes Project has been officially launched in Southern Kaduna as a grassroots mobilisation initiative aimed at securing one million solidarity votes across the zone’s ten local government areas ahead of the 2027 General Elections.
The inauguration, held in Kafanchan, was chaired by the APC National Organising Secretary, Dr Sulaiman Muhammad Argungu, who was represented by the APC National Headquarters’ Director of Election Management, Tasiu Mohammed. Speaking on his behalf, Mohammed commended the initiative as a strategic effort to strengthen the party’s grassroots structures, expand its support base, and promote peaceful, inclusive political participation.
He urged members to remain united, focus on issue-based politics, and encourage greater involvement of women and youths, while reaffirming the APC National Working Committee’s support for credible grassroots mobilisation efforts.
The event drew government officials, party leaders, ward and local government executives, community leaders, and stakeholders from across Southern Kaduna, underscoring the project’s goal of consolidating party unity and preparing the APC for success in the 2027 elections.
