WHY SITE INVESTIGATION IS IMPORTANT
Site investigation helps engineers and geologists to:
- Know the type and strength of the soil and rocks.

STAGES OF SITE INVESTIGATION
1. DESK STUDY

2. FIELD INVESTIGATION

MEANING OF LANDSLIDE

CAUSES OF LANDSLIDES

MAJOR TYPES
