🎯✨ President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has commissioned the ultra-modern Bola Tinubu Complex at the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Abuja, marking a major boost for Nigeria’s healthcare sector.

The facility houses advanced surgical theatres for specialized procedures, including open-heart and laser surgeries, as well as dedicated ENT and Ophthalmology departments and modern wards. The complex expands FMC Abuja’s capacity to handle complex cases, strengthens specialist healthcare delivery, and helps reduce the need for Nigerians to seek treatment abroad.

🎯✨ A MEASURABLE PROJECT WITH CLEAR TIMELINE

THE NEW ABEOKUTA SUBSTATION IN OGUN STATE.

Project Timeline:
The New Abeokuta Substation upgrade in Ogun State is set to be completed in 2026. It is part of Phase One of the Presidential Power Initiative, which aims to add 4,000 megawatts of transmission capacity across Nigeria within three years.

Measurable Milestones:
The project will transform the existing 132/33kV facility into a modern 330/132/33kV substation. This upgrade is expected to unlock approximately 480 megawatts of additional transmission capacity at this single site. Complementary infrastructure includes the Olorunsogo–Ayede 330kV transmission line with a tee-off at New Abeokuta to enable efficient power evacuation.

Expected Impact:
Once completed, the upgraded substation will strengthen grid reliability in Ogun State and surrounding regions. It will support industrial clusters, businesses, and residential communities along the Ogun industrial corridor by ensuring that generated electricity can be transmitted efficiently to downstream customers.

🎯✨ Progress continues under the Presidential Power Initiative as infrastructure upgrades at the Ayede Transmission Substation in Oyo State advance toward completion.

The project, being delivered by Siemens Energy, includes the replacement of a burnt 150MVA, 330/132kV transformer and the construction of a new 132kV line bay, significantly strengthening transmission infrastructure and grid performance.

Things to note:

• Replacement of a burnt 150MVA, 330/132kV transformer

• Construction of a new 132kV transmission line bay

• Increase of transmission wheeling capacity by 120MW

• Improved grid stability and reliability

• Ayede among five priority projects under PPI Phase I

• Supports expansion and modernization of Nigeria’s national grid

• Enhances electricity transmission efficiency and power delivery

You no longer have to travel all the way to the NDA in Zaria — this is another practical initiative of the Renewed Hope Agenda.

In Osogbo, Osun State, the project has already taken shape. Established in May 2025, and in less than a year, impressive structures are already standing.

The decentralization of our gallant military academy has become a reality.
