š· EGO - PART 2.... The Words That Heal and the Lines We Must Not Cross
šļø By Amuche Okoro | Timeless Reality
In our homes, workplaces, and friendships, the most powerful healing tools are not grand gesturesāthey're simple, heartfelt words:
⨠āPlease.ā
⨠āForgive me.ā
⨠āYou matter.ā
⨠āI appreciate you.ā
⨠āI was wrong.ā
But ego whispers: āDonāt say it. Youāll look weak.ā
And so, we carry wounds that couldāve healed in a moment of truth.
Dr. Wayne Dyer once said:
āWhen you have the choice to be right or to be kind, choose kind.ā
Kindness opens doors.
Ego slams them shut.
There is no shame in humility.
No defeat in peace.
But there is great defeat in a hardened heart.
Letās be clear:
Overcoming ego doesnāt mean losing your dignity.
It means knowing the difference between truth and prideā¦
Between honor and emotional arrogance.
Look around:
š Marriages crumbleānot from betrayal, but from silence.
š Leaders failānot from incompetence, but from unchecked pride.
š Communities breakānot from differences, but from inflated egos.
As Lucky Dube sang,
āWhen the music changes, so should the dance.ā
Itās time we stop dancing to egoās rhythmāand walk to the beat of humility.
š¢ In Part 3 (coming soon), weāll dive into the natural laws, the wisdom of humility, and how to transform relationships, communities, and lives.
Itās the grand finaleāand you donāt want to miss it.
Stay tuned.
