ነሐሴ 29 ቀን 2018 ዓ.ም. በናይጄሪያ አቡጃ ከተማ የተካሄደውን የሁለተኛው ዙር የ"Plant Africa Fraternity" የችግኝ ተከላ መርሐ-ግብር ዋና ዋና የናይጄሪያ ጋዜጦች እና የማኅበራዊ ሚዲያ ማሰራጫዎች ሰፊ ሽፋን ሰጥተውታል። ከእነዚህ መገናኛ ብዙኃን መካከል The Sun, The Nation, Voice of Nigeria (VON), the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), NewsFocus, Independent, Africa-Newsroom, Nigerian TRIBUNE, STKREPORTERS, NEWSTIMES, LEADERSHIP እና ሌሎችም ተጠቃሽ ናቸው።
እነዚህ መገናኛ ብዙኃን አውታሮች እ.ኤ.አ. ከ2019 ጀምሮ ላለፉት ስምንት ዓመታት በክቡር ጠቅላይ ሚኒስትር ዶ/ር ዐቢይ አሕመድ የተጀመረውን የአረንጓዴ አሻራ መርሐ-ግብር በማስታወስ፣ እስካሁን ከ48 ቢሊዮን በላይ ዛፎች መተከላቸውን ዘግበዋል። ይህም የአካባቢ ጥበቃን ለማረጋገጥ፣ ለአየር ንብረት ለውጥ መፍትሔ ለመስጠት እና የምግብ ዋስትናን እውን ለማድረግ ትልቅ አስተዋጽኦ እያበረከተ መሆኑን አብራርተዋል። በተጨማሪም መርሐ-ግብሩ የአፍሪካን ዲፕሎማሲ ከቃላትና የሀሳብ ልውውጥ ወጥቶ ወደ ቀጥተኛ የአካባቢ ጥበቃ ተግባራዊ እንቅስቃሴ መሸጋገሩን በሰፊው መስክረዋል። የሚዲያ አውታሮቹን ሽፋን የሰጡበትን መስፈንጠሪያ ከታች ተያይዟል።

Major Nigerian mainstream and social media outlets, including The Sun, The Nation, Voice of Nigeria (VON), the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), NewsFocus, Independent, Africa-Newsroom, Nigerian TRIBUNE, STKREPORTERS, NEWSTIMES, LEADERSHIP and others provided extensive coverage of the second round of the "Plant Africa Fraternity" initiative, held in Abuja on September 4, 2026.
The event was jointly organised by the Embassy of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, the Ethiopian Prosperity Party Youth Wing, and the Nigerian All Progressives Congress (APC) Youth Wing, in collaboration with the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA), the Nigerian Customs Service, and the University of Abuja.
The Media Outlets highlighted the transformative impact of Ethiopia's Green Legacy Initiative, championed by H.E. Prime Minister Dr Abiy Ahmed Ali, which has planted more than 48 billions of trees since 2019 to strengthen environmental resilience, combat climate change, and enhance food security.
They also underscored that the program transitioned African diplomacy from mere dialogue into direct environmental action. Coverage featured statements from the Embassy of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia in Abuja, APC National Youth Leader, and Prosperity Party delegation Head, emphasising that planting indigenous Ethiopian Saplings in Abuja at three different locations symbolises solidarity, shared responsibility, and homegrown African solutions that serve as a continental extension aimed at building momentum toward COP32 in 2027.

The Embassy of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia in Nigeria together with the University of Abuja successfully held a briefing session on the 2nd round of "Plant Africa Fraternity" program, under H.E. Dr. Abiy Ahmed Ali green Legacy initiative.

In a briefing session the Ethiopian youth leader together with their Nigerian counterparts engaged in inspiring discussion with the academic senior staff of the University led by Vice-Chancellor Professor Hakeem Babatunde Fawehinmi. These exchanges of views on grassroots environmental cooperation and youth empowerment successfully bridged cultures, laying a robust foundation for enduring academic and ecological partnerships between our two nations.

Rooted in the inspiring vision of Prime Minister Dr. Abiy Ahmed Ali’s Green Legacy initiative, this dialogue translated directly into impactful action with the joint planting of diverse indigenous Ethiopian saplings on campus under the theme “Uniting Youth for a Greener Africa.” As we build collective continental momentum toward COP32, which Ethiopia will proudly host in 2027, these newly planted trees stand as living symbols of friendship, shared sustainability goals, and Pan-African solidarity. Together, Nigeria and Ethiopia are proving that youth-led collaboration is the vital key to cultivating a greener, more prosperous future for our continent.

ነሐሴ 29 ቀን 2026 ዓ.ም. የናይጄሪያ የጉምሩክ አገልግሎት (The Nigeria Customs Service-NCS) የሥራ ኃላፊዎች የኢትዮጵያ አረንጓዴ አሻራ መርሐ ግብር አካል የሆነውና የሁለተኛው ዙር (Plant Africa Fraternity) ላይ ከናይጄሪያ የኢትዮጵያ ኤምባሲ፣ የብልጽግና ፓርቲ ወጣቶች ክንፍ አመራር ልዑክ መሪ እንዲሁም ከናይጄሪያ ገዢ ፓርቲ (APC) ጋር በመሆን የኢትዮጵያ አገር በቀል ዛፎች ርክክብ ተደረገ፡፡
በመርሐ ግብሩ ላይ በክቡር ጠቅላይ ሚኒስትር ዶ/ር ዐቢይ አሕመድ የተበሰረው የአረንጓዴ አሻራ መርሃ ግብር አህጉራዊ ፋይዳ እና ኢትዮጵያ ላለፉት ዓመታት ባከናወነቻቸው ተግባራት ያስመዘገበቻቸው ስኬቶች ለናይጄሪያ ወገን በኤምባሲው ተወካይ እና የብልጽግና ፓርቲ ወጣቶች ክንፍ ልዑክ መሪ በኩል በስፋት ተብራርተዋል።
የናይጄሪያ ጉምሩክ አገልግሎት ዋና ዳይሬክተር H.E. Bashir Adewale Adeniyi በበኩላቸው በኢትዮጵያ ጠቅላይ ሚኒስትር የተጀመረውን አረንጓዴ አሻራ መርሐ ግብር ያደነቁ ሲሆን፣ ናይጄሪያም በቀጣይ በአየር ንብረት ለውጥ ለመቋቋም እያከናወነች ያለውነ ተግባር አጠናክራ እንደምትቀጥል አረጋግጠዋል፡፡ አያይዘውም ለዚሁ በጎ ተግባር ከኢትዮጵያ የመጡት ወጣቶች የሁለቱን አገራት ወዳጅነት የሚያጠናክሩ ድልድዮች መሆናቸውን ጠቅሰው፣ ከኢትዮጵያ አቻ ተቋም ጋር በትብብር ለመሥራት ያላቸውን ዝግጁነት አረጋግጠዋል።

የኢትዮጵያ አረንጓዴ አሻራ መርሐ ግብር አካል የሆነውና የሁለተኛው ዙር (Plant Africa Fraternity) መርሃ ግብር ዛሬ ነሐሴ 29 ቀን 2018 ዓ.ም. በናይጄሪያ አቡጃ ከተማ በድምቀት ተካሂዷል።
በዚሁ መርሃ ግብር ላይ ሰባት አባላት ያሉት የብልጽግና ፓርቲ ወጣቶች ክንፍ አመራር ልዑክ ከናይጄሪያ ገዢ ፓርቲ (APC) አቻቸው ጋር በመሆን ከኢትዮጵያ የመጡ ሀገር በቀል ችግኞችን በአቡጃ በሚገኝ ፓርክ ውስጥ በጋራ ተክለዋል።በመርሃ ግብሩ የናይጄሪያ ገዥ ፓርቲ የሆነው APC ወጣቶች ሊግ ሊቀ-መንበር Dr. Dayo Abdullahi Israel ለኢትዮጵያውያን ወጣቶች የእንኳን ደህና መጣችሁ መልዕክት አስተላላፈው፤ በክቡር ጠቅላይ ሚኒስትር ዶ/ር ዐቢይ አሕመድ የተጀመረው የአረንጓዴ አሻራ መርሃ ግብር አህጉራዊ ፋይዳ ያለውና በመላው አፍሪካ ደረጃ ሊተገበር የሚገባው አርአያነት ያለው ተግባር መሆኑን ገልጸዋል።
የብልጽግና ፓርቲ ወጣች ክንፍ ልዑክ መሪ አቶ ገዛኸኝ አንዳርጌ ለተደረገላቸው ሞቅ ያለ አቀባበል ምስጋና አቅርበው፣ ላለፉት ስምንት የለውጥ ዓመታት በአረንጓዴ አሻራ የተመዘገቡትን አበይት ስኬቶችና ለአህጉሩ ያላቸውን ፋይዳ አብራርተዋል።የCOP32 እና የፓን-አፍሪካኒዝም ትስስር፣ ኢትዮጵያ በ2027 የምታስተናግደውን የዓለም አቀፍ የአየር ንብረት ለውጥ ጉባኤ (COP32) አስመልክቶ የተከናወነው ይህ የችግኝ ተከላ፣ አፍሪካውያን ወጣቶች የአየር ንብረት ለውጥን በጋራ ለመቋቋም ያላቸውን ቁርጠኝነትና የፓን-አፍሪካኒዝም አንድነት ያረጋገጠ እንደሆነ ተገልጻል።
ይህ የጋራ ተግባር የሁለቱን ሀገራት ስትራቴጂካዊና ታሪካዊ ግንኙነት ይበልጥ የሚያጠናክርና የኢትዮጵያን አረንጓዴ አሻራ ራዕይ ወደ አህጉራዊ ደረጃ የሚያሸጋግር ወሳኝ እርምጃ ነው::
በመጨረሻም የአቡጃ ከተማ አስተዳደር የጤና እና የአከባቢ ጥበቃ ቢሮ ኃለፊ Dr.Dolape Fasswe በፕሮግራሙ ላይ ተገኝተው መልዕክት አስተላልፈዋል፡፡

ነሐሴ 25 ቀን 2018 ዓ.ም. የሚሲዮኑ መሪ ከናይጄሪያ ገዢ ፓርቲ (All Progressives Congress - APC) የወጣቶች ክንፍ ብሔራዊ ሊቀ-መንበር ከሆኑት Dr. Dayo Abdullahi Israel እና 19 አባላት ካሉት የክንፉ ከፍተኛ የማኔጅመንት ልዑክ ጋር በኤምባሲው ተቀብለው ፍሬያማ ውይይት አድርገዋል።
በውይይት መድረኩ ላይ ክቡር አምባሳደሩ ኢትዮጵያና ናይጄሪያ ያላቸውን የቆየ ታሪካዊ፣ ዲፕሎማሲያዊና ጠንካራ የሁለትዮሽ ግንኙነት በማንሳት ይህንን ወዳጅነት ወደ ላቀ ደረጃ ለማሸጋገር የሕዝብ ለሕዝብ ግንኙነትን በተለይም የወጣቶች ግንኙነትና ግንዛቤ ላይ መስራት የበለጠ ግንኙነቱን ለማጠናከር ወሳኝና መሠረታዊ መሆኑን አስገንዝበዋል።
በኢፌዴሪ ጠቅላይ ሚኒስትር ዶ/ር ዐቢይ አሕመድ አነሳሽነት ተጀምሮ አህጉራዊ ተጽዕኖና አዎንታዊ አሻራ እያሳደረ የሚገኘውን የአረንጓዴ አሻራ ኢኒሼቲቭ አፈጻጸም፣ የአየር ንብረት ለውጥን ለመከላከል የሚያበረክተውን ጉልህ አስተዋጽኦ እና ሀገራችን ለቀጣናዊና አህጉራዊ የአካባቢ ጥበቃ የምትጫወተውን ግንባር ቀደም ሚና አብራርተዋል። እንዲሁም ኢትዮጵያ በኢንሺዬቲቩ ያካበተችውን ልምድ ለሌሎችም ወንድም አፍሪካውያን እያጋራች መሆኑን፣ የአንደኛ ዙር ኢንሺዬቲቭ ከኢትዮጵያ የጎረቤት ሀገራት ጋር የችግኝ ተከላውን በማከናወን በውጤታማነት መጠናቀቁንና ሁለተኛው ምዕራፍ ደግሞ በመካሄድ ላይ መሆኑን፣ ይህንን ከመተግበር አንፃር ከናይጄሪያ የወጣቶች አመራሮች ጋር ተቀራርቦ ለመስራትና ልምድ ለመለዋወጥ ዝግጁነት መኖሩን አስረድተዋል፡፡ አያይዘውም በኢትዮጵያ በሁሉም ዘርፎች የተከናወኑ ሀገራዊ የሪፎርም ሥራዎችን፣ የተመዘገቡ አበይት የኢኮኖሚና የማኅበራዊ ልማት ውጤቶችን ለልዑካን ቡድኑ አባላት በሰፊው ገለጻ አድርገውላቸዋል።
የናይጄሪያ ገዢ ፓርቲ (APC) የወጣቶች ክንፍ ብሔራዊ ሊቀ-መንበር Dr. Dayo Abdullahi Israel፣ በበኩላቸው ኢትዮጵያ ለምታደርገው ሁለገብ ዕድገትና በተለይም በአካባቢ ጥበቃ ዘርፍ ያስመዘገበችውን ውጤት አህጉራዊ ኩራት የሆነ የአረንጓዴ አሻራ ስኬት አድንቀው በሁለቱ ሀገራት መካከል ያለውን ግንኙነት የበለጠ ለማጠናከር የፓርቲያቸው ወጣቶች ክንፍ በቁርጠኝነት እንደሚሠራ ገልጸዋል።
ሊቀ-መንበሩ በተለይም ከኢትዮጵያ አቻ የወጣቶች ማኅበራትና አደረጃጀቶች ጋር የቅርብ ትስስር በመፍጠር በአረንጓዴ አሻራ፣ በአካባቢ ጥበቃ እና በለሎች የልማት ሥራዎች ላይ በጋራ የመሳተፍና የልምድ ልውውጥ የማድረግ ትልቅ ፍላጎት እንዳላቸው አረጋግጠዋል።
በውይይቱ ማጠቃለያም ሁለቱ ወገኖች የሁለቱን ሀገራት ወጣቶች ትስስር በጠበቀ ሁኔታ በማጠናከር፣ በልማትና በአካባቢ ጥበቃ ሥራዎች ላይ በማሳተፍ የሕዝብ ለሕዝብ ግንኙነቱን ወደ ላቀ የትብብር ደረጃ ለማሸጋገር በጋራ ለመሥራት ሙሉ መግባባት ላይ ደርሰዋል።
