♻️ The office of the fist lady has wide-ranging roles which are tailored towards supporting vulnerable groups across the state.
♻️ The First Lady had established the Widows, Aged and Orphans Hope Initiative, WAOH, initiative to cater for the less privileged, including orphans and widows.
♻️ The fist lady must be appreciated for consistently meeting expectations through impactful interventions such as payment of school fees and empowerment programmes for widows, helping them achieve improved living standards.
♻️ By our records ,the WAOH initiative has supported over 50,000 widows statewide.
♻️ Adire Ekiti Hub was established to train and retrain individuals, particularly unemployed graduates, equipping them with skills for sustainable livelihoods.
♻️ The First Lady has positively impacted lives, including support for food vendors, women in agriculture, market leaders (Iyalojas), and female teachers. She added that over 10,000 market women have benefited from financial support to boost their businesses.
♻️ More than 10,000 students have benefited from educational support programmes, including the distribution of sanitary pads to female students to promote menstrual hygiene and school attendance.
♻️ The“Back to School” initiative of the First Lady has provided children with essential learning materials, ensuring they are well-equipped for their education.
♻️ The First Lady ,Dr. Olayemi Oyebanji has actively engaged in pro bono academic work, delivering lectures in institutions without financial compensation, this reflects her commitment to education.
♻️ The efforts of the Governor’s wife informed the increase in women been appointed to key political positions, enhancing female representation in governance.
♻️ There is a Gender Department dedicated to addressing violence against women and safeguarding their welfare across the state.
♻️ Her Excellency , the First Lady is working diligently to ensure the success of Governor Biodun Oyebanji in all sectors. Ekiti women are strongly rooting for the Governor’s second term as a result of its impactful programmes.
♻️ Plans are in place to sustain these initiatives, particularly those supporting students with school fees, beyond the current administration.
♻️ Governor Biodun Oyebanji has a longstanding record of assisting people even before assuming office, with many beneficiaries continuing to receive support.
♻️ Mr Governor’s key infrastructural achievements such as comprehensive renovation and equipment of General hospitals including health centres, massive road development projects and others have endeared Ekiti people to him.
♻️ The forthcoming election would definitely favor Governor Oyebanji because of his commitment to development and his vision of transforming the state into a hub of continuous progress and construction.
