Ahead of the Delta State Economic and Investment Summit 2026, which begins tomorrow, Monday, 3rd August, at the Dome Event Centre, Asaba, I had the honour of accompanying His Excellency, the Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Elder Sheriff Francis Oborevwori, to receive the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency Senator Kashim Shettima, GCON, on his arrival at the Asaba International Airport today.

The Vice President's presence highlights the significance of the summit as Delta State continues to position itself as a prime destination for investment, economic growth, and sustainable development.
