29TH AUGUST 2026 — ANAMBRA DECIDES!!!

The countdown to the Anambra State Local Government Area Election has begun. On 29th August 2026, Ndi Anambra will once again have the opportunity to exercise their constitutional right to choose leaders who will represent their interests at the grassroots.

This election is not just about political parties; it is about the future of our communities, our families, our youths, our women, our businesses, and the development of our Local Government Areas.

The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) remains a strong grassroots political platform in Anambra State, built around the principles of people-oriented leadership, good governance, peace, accountability, development, and service to the people.

Local government is the government closest to the people. It is where the impact of leadership is felt directly, from roads and drainage to sanitation, markets, community development, youth empowerment, healthcare, education, security, and other essential services.

As we approach 29th August 2026, let us encourage our people to come out peacefully, participate in the electoral process, and make informed choices. Let us support candidates who are accessible, responsible, competent, and ready to serve rather than those interested only in political positions.

Ndi Anambra, this is our time to strengthen grassroots democracy. This is our opportunity to choose leadership that will listen to the people and work for the development of our communities.

Let us stand together.
Let us vote peacefully.
Let us support credible leadership.
Let us support APGA.

29TH AUGUST 2026 — VOTE APGA!!!

APGA — Our Party. Our People. Our Future.
APGA — Taking Grassroots Leadership to Greater Heights.

*A New Vision for Amichi Ward 2*

Dear respected leaders, elders, youths, women, and good people of our community,

I humbly present myself as a candidate for the position of Councillor in our ward. I am seeking your support, trust, and mandate to serve our community with dedication, transparency, humility, and accountability.

Our ward deserves leadership that listens to the people, understands their challenges, and works tirelessly to bring meaningful development. If elected, I will make the interests and welfare of our people my priority.

My Key Priorities

- Better representation and regular communication with the people.
- Support for youths through skills development and meaningful opportunities.
- Empowerment and inclusion of women and vulnerable members of our Ward
- Advocacy for improved roads, drainage, electricity, water, and other basic amenities.
- Support for education, healthcare, and community development.
- Transparency and accountability in the use of public resources.
- Peace, unity, and cooperation among all groups in our ward.

This journey is not about one person; it is about all of us and the future of our Ward/community. I believe that together, we can build a ward where everyone has a voice and where development reaches the people.

I therefore respectfully ask for your support, prayers, votes, and cooperation as we move forward together.

Together, we can make a difference.
Together, we can build a better ward.
Together, we can move our community forward.

*Vote Hon Ekene Okafor* for Councillor Ward 2.
*Vote APGA*
*A Voice for the People.*

*Effect of good governance in Anambra under the leadership of gov soludo*

Good governance under Governor Charles Soludo has turned Anambra into a fast‑growing hub of infrastructure, technology and social services. His “Solution” agenda pushes transparency, accountability and inclusive planning, which has unlocked a N766 billion 2026 budget focused on economic growth, road construction, and welfare programs ¹. Over 400 km of roads have been built or rehabilitated, linking farmers to markets and creating jobs, while hundreds of kilometers of new highways and flyovers are already in use ² ³.

On the tech front, Soludo’s administration rolled out free public Wi‑Fi, digitised government processes, and earned national awards for e‑governance, making service delivery faster and more transparent ⁴. Education and health have also benefited: 8,115 teachers hired, free public schooling, upgraded health centres with solar power, and free antenatal care, cutting out‑of‑school children to just 2.9 % ³.

Fiscal prudence is another hallmark—no borrowing for consumption, with BudgIT ranking Anambra top in southern Nigeria for ease of doing business, attracting private investment and public‑private partnerships ³. Security improvements, youth‑skill programs and a “One Youth, Two Skills” initiative have reduced unemployment and curbed criminal activity in several LGAs ³.

Overall, good governance under Soludo has spurred economic activity, improved living standards, and positioned Anambra as a model of transparent, development‑driven leadership.
