PRESS RELEASE

I, Austine Emeka Bonny (De Lazz Inc), the Leader of 5th Arochukwu Legislative Council totally condemn the physical attack on the amiable Director General of the 2023 Abia PDP Campaign Council, Barr Chinedum Elechi.

The attack which took place in Umuahia by an assailant who claimed to be an official of the DSS is barbaric and wicked. I urge the relevant authorities to bring the culprit to book to serve as a deterrent to others, especially as we approach 2023 general election.

I commend the gallant and courageous Abians who apprehended the assailant, it is an indication that Abians are still their brother's keeper. We all must stand up and maintain the peace we have been enjoying in the State since the inception of the administration of His Excellency Dr. Victor Okezie Ikpeazu.

Abia has remained the most peaceful State in Nigeria and we want to coexist peacefully despite our different political affliations and aspirations. We must remember that we are brothers first before politics.

I call on the good people of Abia State to maintain the brotherhood we are known for, remain vigilant and resist any bad elements that will try to destroy the tranquility we all are enjoying in the State.

I sympathize with our ebullient DG even as I pray for his quick recovery so that he will continue to lead us towards a resounding victory in the forthcoming general election.

My support and that of Arochukwu Legislative Council and the entire good people of Arochukwu LGA are with you as you recover quickly and bounce back back to work."

The leader of the 5th Arochukwu Legislative Council and the PDP flag bearer of Arochukwu State Constituency, Rt. Hon. Austin Emeka Bonny (De Lazz Inc) felicitates with the good people of Arochukwu L. G. A. on our Democracy Day.

In his message, " It has been a tough year under this current administration ranging from the economic downturn, insecurity, and joblessness on the increase.
Nigeria has been through a lot, but we are hopeful that things will turn out for the best, we are optimistic that Nigeria will work again as I urge everyone to join hands together to redeem Nigeria from the current socio-economic crisis that has befallen our dear Nation".

In his speech, he urged them to embrace peace and unity to effect the change that we all prayed for, knowing fully well that through God all things are possible.

The leader in his remarks pleaded to all Nigerians home and in dispora as a matter of necessity to get their permanent Voters Card (PVC) in order to exercise their civil duties and ensure they would vote for candidates of their choice in 2023 general election to sustain Democracy for good Governance as there is no polling unit on social media.

He humbly asked all resentful members of his great party PDP to shield their sword and work together as a team in order to achieve great result.

DE LAZZ COMMENDS ABIA STATE PDP TOUR IN AROCHUKWU LGA - VOWS TO CONTINUE THE MASSIVE GRASSROOT MOBILIZATION FOR PDP

As the ongoing tour of local governments by Abia State PDP working committee/executives ably led by Rt Hon Alwell Asiforo Okere PhD, hits Arochukwu local government area, the leader of the 5th Arochukwu Legislative council Hon Austine Emeka Bonny(De Lazz Inc) has commended the state executives for embarking on such initiative which has helped to reawaken the spirit of all the PDP faithfuls even as the 2023 general election is gathering momentum.

The Ihechiowa born grassroot mobilizer/ business man was hailed for his efforts and the capacity shown in mobilising for PDP during the Arochukwu tour, has also vowed to continue the massive mobilisation because he believes as a party man, it is part of his duty to draw support from among the voters to PDP.

He commended all the stakeholders in Arochukwu local government especially the Executive Chairman Hon Prince Dan Kalu Orji, for their contribution towards the successful event.
He also commended them for unanimously re-echoing the need to foster unity among the party members.

On this day, 11th of January 2022, the Leader of 5th Arochukwu Legislative Council, Rt Hon Austine Emeka Bonny(De Lazz Inc) joined the Executive Chairman of Arochukwu local government area, Hon Prince Dan K. Orji(Okemkpu Abam) in a peace and security meeting which involved Ndi Ebe and Ndi Ojiaku all in Abam, security situation in Okpo Ihechiowa and others inclusive.

NEW YEAR GOODWILL MESSAGE FROM THE LEADER OF THE 5TH AROCHUKWU LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL, RT. HON. AUSTINE EMEKA BONNY(DE LAZZ INC).

I Rt. Hon. Austine Emeka Bonny, on behalf of myself, family and the entire members of the 5th Arochukwu legislative council wish the good people of Arochukwu LGA, Abia state and Nigeria in general a Happy and a Prosperous New year.

It is with gratitude to God that we welcome you to the new year, 2022. We believe that starting the new year with prayers to the creator and sustainer of our lives is Paramount, as we look forward to an engaging year for the good people of Arochukwu LGA.

As we celebrate, let us do so with kindness and humanity, showing love and care for one another, particularly the sick, physically challenged persons, the aged and homeless amongst us.

Let us as families, come together to reflect on the year passed and to put our prayers and hope towards a better 2022.

The year 2021, has been a difficult year for most families and even the Government. However, we have worked very hard and in many instances, we have overcome and we have been successful with the goals we have set for ourselves. The future is promising.

I wish to thank the good people of Arochukwu LGA, who through in a most difficult times have provided moral support and prayers to the leadership of the various arms of Government. You’ve exemplify the oneness of the Arochukwu LGA family and we must find ways of further integrating the bound into the life and development of our dear LGA and the state in general. We are a resilient people and I have absolute confidence that we will overcome our present challenges as a people united in love.

As legislators, we are mindful of the security challenges and economic hardship faced by the people, we are committed to continue to uphold and promote people oriented legislation that will be anchored on peace, unity and economic development of the council.

As a council, we will continue to work closely with the executive and judiciary to stand with the people at their moments of difficulties and providing for them a platform to believe in themselves and the Arochukwu LGA project.

It is our believe that as a council, 2022 will usher in a more robust legislative agenda that will reflect more on the yearnings and aspirations of the people as well as promoting democratic values in the legislative system.

Finally, we are reiterating our unalloyed loyalty to the Government of Dr. Okezie Victor Ikpeazu, the speaker of the State Assembly, Rt.Hon Chinedum Orji and the indifactible Executive Chairman of Arochukwu LGA, Hon. Prince Dan Kalu Orji to deliver on the Next Level Agenda.
