Today, it was my pleasure to receive the newly deployed Area Commander of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Ika South Command, AC Okwuonyekwu Micheal during a courtesy visit in my office.

The engagement provided an opportunity to foster institutional collaboration, strengthen the existing relationship between the Local Government and the Corps, and deliberate on measures aimed at further enhancing peace, security, and the protection of lives and property within Ika South.

We look forward to a productive partnership that will further enhance security and community development in our dear Local Government Area.

It was an absolute pleasure to receive Her Excellency, the First Lady of Delta State Her Excellency Dcns.Tobore Oborevwori in Ika federal constituency for the Free Medical Outreach through her You Matter Charity Foundation, a laudable initiative aimed at bringing quality healthcare closer to our people particularly children with special needs, their caregivers and the elderly.

As an administration committed to the welfare and wellbeing of our citizens, we deeply appreciate this compassionate intervention, which will provide much-needed medical services, health awareness, and support to members of our community.

Death has robbed us of one of our best but has not extinguished the light, therefore the fire will continue burning forever.

Today, it’s with a heavy heart that I paid a condolence visit alongside the Staff of Ika south Local Government Council to the family of Engr. Emmanuel Jolly Nwanma (NULGE CHAIRMAN Ika South) whom we lost to a fatal accident together with his Ika North-East counterpart.

My heartfelt condolences goes to his family and the entire people of Ika south. May God grant his soul eternal rest and console his family in this difficult time,amen.
