I want to let the students know that we remain committed to the course of Nigerian Students and we ain't deviating. On speaking with the Provost and Chairman, Committee of Deans, I want to assure the students from the aggrieved school that their results will be released soon. All students should sheathe their sword as we are on top the matter. Let all grievances be pending as we promise to see to the end of this matter.

IN A COMMUNIQUÉ ISSUED FROM THE OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT AFTER A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING WITH THE CHAIRMAN, COMMITTEE OF DEANS; MR. MOEMEKA A.P, DEAN, SCHOOL OF VOCATIONAL EDUCATION.

After much deliberation with Top Management and Deans in two different sittings; Students are hereby informed that
They should ensure they register their carryover courses on time and not allowing it to linger thereby causing irregularities and incompetencies in result compilation.

Students should relax and keep calm while the case of GSE223/224 is being investigated.

Students should endeavor to open file in Dean's Office whether the documents are complete or not.

Students that have issue of CGPA compilation or invalid CGPA should submit their first semester result and second semester result analysis to the President for proper scrutiny and recompilation.

Students from School of Business should wait for the release of 2017/2018 first Semester result to enable the Department release the 2016/2017 Second Semester result as was agreed with the Result Verification Committee (RVC)

PRESS RELEASE FROM THE OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT ON THE MEETING WITH DEANS OF SCHOOLS ON 20/04/2018.

The meeting which was held in the office of the Chairman Committee of Deans; Dean, School of Vocational Education started at the late hours of 12 noon. The issues addressed were the GSE 223/224 irregularities, error in result compilations in most of the schools and delay in release of result. The Deans presented spoke extensively on the matters and appealed to the SU Executives to bury their hatchet while they do the needful.
The Dean, SVE, Mr Moemeka assured they would be a noticeable change in the reports submitted. The errors in result in School of Business according to the Dean, School of Business has been rectified and would be released alongside with the next result. The Dean promised to look into the GS issue and also pleaded we keep calm expecting the best.
The meeting came to a good ending with a vote of thanks from the President.
