At Oraeri with my Principal, Dr. Chibueze Ofobuike, as we commenced the construction of the Community Mini Stadium in Ora-Eri, Aguata LGA.

This project is in line with the Agenda on grassroots sports development, aimed at harnessing the football talents and sporting potential of our youths across Aguata communities.

Upon completion in the coming months, the facility will greatly enhance youth engagement, promote community sporting activities, and provide a conducive environment for talent discovery and development in Oraeri and beyond.

Joined my Principal, Dr. Chibueze Ofobuike, Mayor of Aguata LGA, for the flag-off and inspection of the ongoing flood water control construction project at Akabodida-Obiagba, Achina.

This important intervention is aimed at addressing the persistent flooding challenges within the area while also improving accessibility for residents and farmers.

Upon completion, the project will provide easier movement of people and agricultural produce, as well as serve as a strategic link between the communities of Achina and Enugwu-Umuonyia.

As an administration, we remain committed to opening up rural roads and enhancing infrastructure that directly impacts the lives of our people.

We will continue to prioritize people-oriented projects that bring lasting development to Aguata Local Government Area.

I accompanied my Principal, Dr. Chibueze Ofobuike, Mayor of Aguata LGA, as he commissioned the newly constructed and fully equipped Male and Female Wards at Ajam Community Hospital, Ezinifite.

This project reflects our administration’s commitment to strengthening healthcare delivery and improving medical infrastructure at the grassroots.

This new wards will enhance the hospital’s capacity to provide quality healthcare services in a more conducive environment for patients and medical personnel.

Beyond the facility upgrade, he also sponsored the enrolment of 120 elderly persons from different parts of the community into the Anambra State Health Insurance Scheme, ensuring they have access to affordable and quality healthcare.

We remain committed to impactful interventions that improve the wellbeing of our people.

Acknowledging the importance of a healthy, greener, and serene environment, I carried out an inspection tour, as directed by my principal, Dr. Chibueze Ofobuike, Mayor of Aguata LGA, across the major busy roads in Ekwulobia — Nnewi Road, Orlu Road, Awka Road, Oko Road, and the Flyover axis.

This exercise is in line with the directive of the Anambra State Government to ensure the maintenance of a clean and healthy environment across our communities.

During the inspection, I assessed the state of the drainages to ensure proper desilting, checked against the display of goods on drainage channels, and emphasized the need for shop owners and traders to maintain cleanliness around their business premises.

Our environment is ours to protect and preserve. As a government, we will continue to ensure a clean, safe, and habitable Aguata for all.

Representing my principal, Dr. Chibueze Ofobuike, the Mayor of Aguata, I visited the scene of the unfortunate fire outbreak at an oil mill in Isiaku Isuofia to ascertain and sympathize with those affected by the incident.

As a local government our heart goes out to the victims of this tragic occurrence, especially our elderly men and women whose livelihoods and properties may have been affected. In moments like this, we must stand together as a people and support one another.

I assured the affected persons of the Local Government support as efforts will be made to provide necessary support and assistance where possible.

I also commend the swift response of those who helped to contain the situation and prevent further destruction.

May God grant strength and comfort to everyone affected.

What stands today in Ekwulobia is more than a flyover; it is a bold signature of progress, strategic leadership, and purposeful governance under the administration of His Excellency, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo, CFR.

From the quality of work to the transformative impact it promises, this landmark project will not only ease transportation but further stimulate economic activities and open new opportunities for our people.

Anambra is indeed rising, and the evidence is visible across our communities.
