Yesterday, at the grand unveiling and presentation of the manifesto of my principal, Dr. Chibueze Ofobuike, the APGA candidate for Aguata Federal Constituency, titled “Doing More for Aguata: My Solemn Pledge,” we witnessed a clear statement of purpose and renewed commitment to the people.

The presentation offered Dr. Ofobuike an opportunity to articulate his vision, demonstrate his readiness, and reaffirm his commitment to effective representation and greater development for Aguata Federal Constituency.

Having witnessed his impactful work as Mayor of Aguata Local Government Area, I am convinced that he possesses the capacity, experience, and understanding required for this greater responsibility. His record in office remains a strong testament to his preparedness.

And by the special grace of God,for us that will be at the Local Government, the vision is clear: Progressive Continuity for a Progressive Aguata. And to Ndi Aguata, we say: Expect More.

In Isuofia with my principal Dr. Chibueze Ofobuike as he visited Central School Isuofia, where the commitment is to rebuild the classroom block and create a more conducive atmosphere for teaching and learning.

And in Uga, at Girls’ High School, we are taking it a step further, providing a standard"" examination hall while building and equipping science laboratories to strengthen practical learning and academic excellence.

T"hese are not just projects; they are deliberate investments in the future of our children.

Education is the foundation upon which every prosperous society is built, and our resolve to reposition education in Aguata remains firm.

A DAY IN AGUATA: WHERE LEADERSHIP MEETS THE PEOPLE: SERVICE, CULTURE AND COMMUNITY
. .Five engagements. Five different moments. One common thread — the Aguata people.

It was a day of celebration and meaningful encounters across Aguata as I joined my Principal, Dr. Chibueze Ofobuike, to share in the moments that matter to our people.

From the church to the community square, from family milestones to agricultural celebration, every stop offered another reminder of the richness of our people and the importance of leadership that stays connected.

8AM | UGA: We began at St. James Church, where we joined the Councillor representing Uga Ward I, Hon. Onyeka Ezenwa, in thanksgiving for his 20th Marriage Anniversary—a beautiful celebration of love, commitment and family.

11AM | EKWULOBIA: We proceeded to the National Evangelical Mission Headquarters, where we celebrated Mother’s Sunday with the women, honouring their strength, sacrifices and enduring contributions to family and society.

1PM | AGRICULTURE: We celebrated the remarkable agricultural achievement of Rev. Fr. Philip Okoye, whose harvest produced a spectacular new yam weighing over 100kg. Beyond the celebration was a powerful demonstration of the immense potential of agriculture in our communities.

3PM | AWARASI, UGA: We joined the people of Awarasi Village for their 2026 New Yam Festival, a colourful celebration of culture, brotherhood, unity and communal identity.

5PM | IGBO-UKWU: We concluded the day by celebrating with Dr. Obinna Ezeobi, as he was initiated into the prestigious Nze n’Ozo society of Igbo-Ukwu.

Five engagements. Five different moments. One common thread — the Aguata people.

This is what leadership should look like: present, accessible and deeply connected to the community.

With my Principal, Dr. Chibueze Ofobuike, I remain committed to a leadership that does not stay distant from the people but walks with them, celebrates with them and works for their collective progress.

To the glory of God, I join the family, friends, associates, Ndi Ekwulobia, Ndi Aguata, Anambra and well wishers of Chief Sir. J.J Ezeokafor (Ezeudo Aguata, Nwachinemelu Ekwulobia) in thanking God for His mercy, protection and safe return.

I personally suspended most of my activities for days in solidarity with our great stakeholder Chief Sir Ezeokafor.

His safe return is indeed a cause for gratitude to God and celebration. May God continue to protect you and your household, both now and forever!
