Hon. Kingsley Udemezue sympathized with Hon. Barr. Asha Ralph Nnabuife, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, and family on Saturday over the demise of his beloved wife whom he described as an excellent woman; a woman who always spoke highly of her husband and showed support.

He said ‘’We are here to condole with a major stakeholder in the State on the loss of a rare gem and a virtuous woman, Mrs Asha- Nnabuife. There is no amount of consolation that can heal this wound and fill the vacuum in this home.

As a result of Hon. Kingsley Udemezue's interest in the safety of the people and their businesses, he sponsored a bill to ensure the safety and protection of markets in Anambra State sometime last year, recalling the recent fire outbreak in Nkpor markets, which led to the ruin of many business resources.

We are glad to let you know that this bill has passed a second reading at the Anambra State House of Assembly.

This law will help markets set up standards and measures that will aid in reducing the number of fire incidents in Anambra State markets.
