It was a massive and productive yesterday as some members of the Awka Real Estate Agents Association (AREA-A) paid a courtesy visit to the CEO of Arnold & Associates to discuss the progress and future of our association.

We were warmly received, and the CEO shared valuable guidance on the growth and development of the association. During the meeting, he encouraged us to establish a relationship with the Chairman of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIESV), Anambra State Chapter, who can provide professional and legal guidance towards achieving the aims and objectives of our association.

He also enlightened us on important professional bodies and certifications such as SVABON, REDAN, and the Real Estate Institute, among others. As a further show of support, he directed his Personal Assistant to provide us with the contact details of the Chairman of NIESV, Anambra State Chapter, to facilitate future engagements.

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL REAL ESTATE AGENTS IN AWKA, ANAMBRA STATE*
Greetings to all agents in Awka, Anambra State.

As we all know, the Awka Real Estate Agents Association (AREA-A) is a union established to unite all real estate agents, promote professionalism, and fight against corruption and unethical practices in the real estate sector in Anambra State.

We hereby notify the general public, both registered and non-registered members of the association, about our upcoming general meeting scheduled as follows:

Date: Sunday, 28th June 2026
Venue: AREA-A Office, Aroma Junction, behind the fuel station leading to Ifite Road, Awka.

The association currently has over 160 officially registered members, and all members are encouraged to attend as important issues concerning the future of the union will be discussed.

AGENDA:
1. Presentation of the association’s account statement from November 2024 – June 2026.
2. Discussion on how to work with the Anambra State Government towards reducing corruption and improving the real estate agency system.
3. Collection of ID cards for already registered members of the union.
4. Discussion on the upcoming general elections and transition of leadership.
5. Discussion on how to move the association forward with the support of members and the Anambra State Government.

Please note that all agents in Awka and some real estate developers will be present.

For members who have registered but have not submitted their passport photographs, kindly contact Don Amicable so that your ID card can be prepared before the next meeting.

We kindly ask everyone to help share this information and inform your colleagues. This meeting is very important for the growth and development of our association.
