YESTERDAY WAS A GREAT DAY IN EDO STATE.
History was made at Edo State Polytechnic, Usen as the long-awaited commissioning of the internal road network project was officially carried out — a landmark achievement coming 23 years after the institution’s establishment.
The event was graced by His Excellency, Senator Monday Okpebholo, alongside the Chairman of Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Mr. Chiedu Ebie, the Managing Director of Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Dr. Samuel Ogbuku, the Honourable Minister for Regional Development, Engr. Abubakar Momoh, the Chairman, Senate Committee on NDDC, Senator Asuquo Ekpenyong, members of the NDDC Board, and other distinguished dignitaries.
The Honourable Commissioner for Education, Dr. Emmanuel Paddy Iyamu, was also on ground, reaffirming the State’s commitment to improving learning environments and infrastructure across all institutions.
This project stands as a testament to the visionary leadership of Governor Okpebholo and the strong collaboration with the NDDC in driving meaningful development in Edo State. It not only enhances mobility within the campus but also creates a more conducive atmosphere for academic excellence.
