My thoughts and prayers are with the entire nation and the family of His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, on his passing.

President Buhari was a true patriot, an exemplary leader, and an anti-corruption crusader par excellence, who served our nation to the best of his ability.

I am eternally grateful to him for the opportunity he gave me to contribute to the service of our beloved nation under his leadership.

May his soul rest in peace, and may the Almighty grant his family and all Nigerians the strength to bear this profound loss.

I extend my heartfelt congratulations to my brother and friend, Chief Sunday Dare, on his recent appointment as Special Adviser to the President on Public Communication and Orientation. His dedication to service has earned him this well-deserved role, and I have no doubt he will bring his wealth of experience to bear and exceed expectations.

I also congratulate my former colleague, Hon Muhammadu Maigari Dingyadi, on his designation as the Minister of Labour and Employment by Mr President, and I wish him wisdom and strength to deliver impactful results in this new role.

Additionally, I congratulate Dr. Jumoke Oduwole on her appointment as the Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investment. We worked together as members of the Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council (PEBEC) and she headed the committee on the Technical Working Team (TWT), which I inaugurated in July 2022. My family and I wish to thank our friends, well-wishers, associates, and church members who joined and supported us during the three-day funeral for our beloved Matriarch and Senior Mother-in-Israel of the Eternal Sacred Order of the Cherubim and Seraphim (ESOCS), Alice Janet Obaseki, who passed peacefully at the age of 83.

Seeing you behind and around us as we honoured our matriarch with a befitting burial gave us joy and renewed our belief in the fatherhood of God and the brotherhood of man.

May the Almighty God continue to bless you, your family, and all your endeavours.

My heart and prayers are with the victims of the Jattu Market tragedy on Monday, which resulted in fatalities and injuries.

I extend my best wishes to the injured for a speedy recovery and pray that the Almighty God will grant the dead a peaceful repose of their souls.

I also urge the Etsako West Local Government authorities to draw significant lessons from the tragic incident and take steps to remove fixtures that pose a real threat to life and property in and around the market premises.
