At full capacity, the Greenhill Ethanol Plant in Ologbo, Ikpoba Okha Local Government Area, Edo State, is expected to generate roughly $29 million in revenue annually and cover 5.8% of Nigeria’s ethanol needs. The ethanol facility is a byproduct of the state government’s efforts to increase manufacturing in the state by encouraging outside parties to participate in the food processing industry.

Victor Uwaifo Creative Hub and Sound Stage

The Victor Uwaifo Creative Hub in Benin is an another initiative of the Governor Godwin Obaseki-led administration established to boost entertainment with the pledge to sustain programmes and reforms to ensure Edo youths realise their full potentials.

The newly-built facility, named after the late music legend, Sir Victor Uwaifo, was inaugurated during the Edo Mega Youth Concert with the theme, "The Guitar Boy Lives On". The sound stage is helping artistes produce music and films; there is an editing suite that helps artistes finalise all their productions.

Edo State Government is committed to leveraging the numerous opportunities in the creative industry to empower more Edo youths and grow the state's economy. The hub has facilities to support talents in the state who want to produce music, film and other creative contents.
