On Politics Tonight, I unpacked the issues, separated the facts from the noise, and had an honest conversation about the state of our dear Edo.

The conversation touched on the work His Excellency, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has done in less than two years in office, the recent change in the House of Assembly, the state’s debt management profile, and, of course, the Osun State elections.

Once again, I had to clear the air on some issues surrounding the administration during my recent conversation with News Central TV.

We discussed borrowing and the Governor’s fiscal priorities, including how the ongoing infrastructure projects across Edo State are being funded.

I also addressed the GRA roads, the drainage challenges, and why His Excellency, Senator Monday Okpebholo, is determined to fix them properly rather than simply whitewashing the problems.

The 4,800 newly appointed SAs also came up, as did the recent change in the leadership of the House of Assembly and my principal’s position on peace and stability.

There was quite a bit to unpack.

Some questions needed answers, and some issues needed clarity. I had the opportunity to provide both.

'The sidelining of the Deputy Governor' and 'The Osun/Adeleke situation'

Still on my engagement on the 'Media Space Roundtable Discussion', my friend Chris ambushed me with a question I wasn't expecting- 'The sidelining of the Deputy Governor' by SMO in the administration.

While it was unexpected, as long as it involved Governor Okpebholo, I had to have a response. I stated it is as it is.

Of course, he had to throw in the situation with the Governor's comments about HE Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun.
