GOMBE SOUTH AND POLITICS
It is becoming interesting how we are growing gradually, as we learn everyday.
I see the young and vibrant men and women trying to find their footing right in what they all believe is their political ideology.
I like the punch from all angles, when we are supporting our principals to some that have one.
I like the courage to see the few speaking for themselves and what they believe is a point of order to call for people's attention to salient issues.
Whatever their reason for support or against and those on the neutral, the aim should be to build a better southern Gombe and to restore it's past glory of people been United, Peaceful, gifted, talented, educated, hospital and accommodating.
The great challenge, I so wish to have gone long ago, is the same lingering issue of selfishness, divisiveness, envy, greed, self centeredness that made our people to be myopic and unpatriotic about the development of our region.
The question still remains, what do we really want in politics as a people? Why do we truly want to engage in politics?
The simple answer could be, to drive the dividends of democracy home.
WHO WILL CHANGE THE NARRATIVE OF OUR POLITICS IS THE QUESTION BECKONING FOR AN ANSWER?
But I have this to say, what ever is our state in politics now, we are all responsible for our development or set back. Our interest must be harmonized, if we must move forward and ahead beyond the generation of Facebook politicians. We must have vision with well articulated and calculated effort to impact our people in the best way we can. Remember politics is not a do or die affairs, we meet to agree and disagree. The table turns around continuesly for all us.
