SCHOOL INSPECTION REPORT

The team of inspectors from the Zonal Education Office, Birnin Kebbi, conducted a school inspection exercise on the 20th of October, 2025. During the visit, the following schools were inspected:

1. G.D.S.S Dagere, 2. G.D.S.S Gwabare, 3. G.D.S.S Dalijan, 4. J.A.I.S Dalijan, 5. G.G.D.S.S Gwandu, 6. G.D.S.S (Boys) Gwandu, 7. G.D.S.S Masama, and 8. G.G.D.S.S Masama.

During the inspection visit, an exciting and commendable event took place at G.D.S.S Dagere. The P.T.A Committee, under the chairmanship of Alhaji Bello Majidadi, generously donated school uniforms to less privileged students. This thoughtful gesture is highly appreciated as it reflects the committeeโ€™s commitment to supporting quality education and encouraging effective teaching and learning within the school.

The Honourable Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education and the Permanent Secretary have both commended this noble act of generosity by the P.T.A Committee of Dagere. They described the donation as a model of community participation in education and called on other school communities across the state to emulate such efforts that uplift the standard of education and promote inclusiveness among students.

After an intense and competitive match, GDSS Tudun Wada emerged victorious over GDSS Atiku Bagudu, claiming the DHS International Volleyball Championship Title 1.0.

The champions displayed exceptional teamwork, determination, and sportsmanship a true reflection of the spirit of excellence we continue to promote in our schools across Kebbi State.

Congratulations to GDSS Tudun Wada for this remarkable achievement, and well done to GDSS Atiku Bagudu for their commendable performance throughout the tournament.

The Kebbi State Ministry for Basic and Secondary Education heartily congratulates the winners and commends all participating schools for their dedication, discipline, and spirit of healthy competition. Today marks the official commencement of the DHS International Debate & Games Championship 1.0. The debating sessions began with great enthusiasm as participating students were divided into eight (8) competitive rooms, each engaging in an intellectually stimulating discussion on a single unified topic:

Bieng 11th October, 2025. we witnessed a historic and inspiring event as the Kebbi State Ministry for Basic and Secondary Education, in collaboration with DHS International Programme and the Office of Her Excellency, the First Lady of Kebbi State, joyfully celebrated the International Day of the Girl Child and the Grand Opening of the Debate & Games Championship, Kebbi State 1.0.

We sincerely appreciate His Excellency, Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris (Kauran Gwandu), the Executive Governor of Kebbi State, for his unwavering commitment, passion, and visionary leadership in promoting education, youth empowerment, and inclusive development across the State.
