Unjust Suspension of Honorable Hassan Umar Namaroko: A Dark Day for Democracy in Kebbi State

The Kebbi State House of Assembly's decision to suspend Honorable Hassan Umar Namaroko, a dedicated and outspoken member, is a stark reminder of the dangers of unchecked power and the erosion of democratic values. This unjust move, taken without due process or valid reasons, is a clear attempt to silence a vocal advocate for the people and perpetuate a culture of impunity.

Hon. Hassan Umar Namaroko has consistently demonstrated his commitment to transparency, accountability, and good governance, earning the respect and admiration of his constituents and fellow citizens. His suspension is a travesty of justice, a betrayal of the trust placed in him by the people, and a stark reminder of the need for vigilance in protecting our democratic institutions.

By suspending Hon. Namaroko the government has not only silenced a dissenting voice but also deprived our people and constituency of the right to effective representation. We condemn, in the strongest possible terms, the unjust suspension of Honorable Hassan Umar Namaroco and demand his immediate reinstatement. We call on the people of Kebbi State and all lovers of democracy to join us in speaking out against this injustice, defending the rights of our elected representatives, and upholding the democratic values that are the foundation of our society. We demand that our right to effective representation be restored, and our voices be heard.

I will like to use this medium inorder to draw attention of some of our members who are criticising the leadership of our amiably leader *Hon: Hassan Namaroco* member for state House assembly *kebbi* *north*.

*Hon: Hassan Namaroco* is a true leader who is so much concern about the development of the people especially youth in the state.

If we could recall when *Hon: Namaroco* get to board the first people he helped was those that support the success of his election. Some of this people were given cars, motorcycle, money and uptill now he is ready to help people been him among the philanthropists we are bless with them here in kebbi State. In addition in terms of his generosity believe you me that his benevolent and philanthropy is more than his earning.

Despite the fact that he is not the state Governor yet he has done his very best in ensuring that his supporters are not left behind he consider everyone equal be it his friends, relatives, supporters and the rest of them . More also in the history of kebbi north *Hon: Hassan Namaroco* is among the best leaders as he is working tirelessly in ensuring transparency, responsibility and accountability and God fearing in discharging his duties as member Representating Kebbi North.
