STATEMENT OF APPRECIATION TO PRESIDENT BOLA AHMED TINUBU, GCFR, ON THE FLAG-OFF OF THE GOMBE–BIU SUPERHIGHWAY DUALIZATION PROJECT

On behalf myself and the good people of my constituency, I wish to express my profound gratitude and appreciation to His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for the historic flag-off of the N1.245 trillion Gombe–Biu Superhighway Dualization Project, a landmark infrastructure intervention that will transform the economic, social, and security landscape of the Northeast region.

This monumental project stands as a clear demonstration of President Tinubu’s unwavering commitment to national development, infrastructure renewal, and the realization of the Renewed Hope Agenda. For decades, the Gombe–Biu road remained a critical but neglected corridor despite its immense strategic importance to commerce, transportation, and regional integration.

The reconstruction and dualization of this vital highway will not only ease the movement of people and goods but will also stimulate economic activities, attract investments, enhance security, create employment opportunities, and strengthen connectivity across the Northeast and beyond. Future generations will undoubtedly remember this bold and visionary intervention as one of the defining infrastructure projects of our time.

I sincerely thank President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his leadership, foresight, and dedication and all stakeholders whose commitment has contributed to the realization of this long-awaited project.

I heartily congratulate our President His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, on the occasion of his third anniversary in office as President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Over the past three years, President Tinubu has demonstrated courage, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to the progress, stability, and prosperity of our great nation. While the journey of nation-building is never without challenges, his administration has remained focused on implementing reforms aimed at securing a brighter future for all Nigerians.

As we mark this significant milestone, I wish our President continued good health, wisdom, strength, and divine guidance in the discharge of his responsibilities. Earlier today, I had the pleasure of receiving some of my comrades and constituents currently in Makkah, whom I sponsored to the Holy City for this year's Hajj pilgrimage. They paid me a courtesy and appreciation visit, expressing their gratitude and goodwill.
