Congratulatory message from the APC National Youth Caucus

14/03/2023

The supreme court earlier declared the continuous usage of the 500 and 1000 Naira.

The Council to the Federal Government, Kanu Agabi, SAN, told Nigerians that the Federal Government and CBN have no reason not to comply with the supreme court judgement.

Days interval, the presidency and CBN refused to make a statement on the Court judgement.

Jagaban and some state Governors across party lines threatened contempt of court on Malami and Emeifele but the duo were bent on being lawless. The rule of law and supremacy of the supreme court were neglected amidst the suffering of the masses.

A week went bye and the lawlessness of the both entities (FG & CBN), the exploitation by POS merchants, fuel and gas stations and suffering of the masses continued until yesterday morning, when the Nigerian Labour Congress woke up from slumber.

The NLC now remembered they had the masses to protect.

They threatened strike, giving Federal Government seven-day ultimatum to comply with the supreme court judgement.

Hours later, Falana, SAN was on Channels TV where he berated Federal Government for disobeying Supreme Court’s order on the old naira notes.

The pressure intensified and sluggishly the Presidency came out to push the whole blame on CBN, saying that "the CBN has no reason not to comply with court orders on the excuse of waiting for directives from the President." , whereas they were largely responsible and giving Emeifele backup all along the troubles associated to the policy.

Now that the CBN has finally bowed to pressure from Nigerians, it is expedient for the Presidency and CBN to apologize to Nigerians for a failed policy and make cash available to Nigerians rather than blaming each other.

Our old currencies are back and the suffering of the masses will definitely reduce. We expect the various banks to comply according for the era of Renewed ♾️ Hope has begun.

In all, we give God the glory.

TRUTH EXPOSED..!!

This has come to expose the true fact that PETER OBI is still PDP and would trade the Labour Party faithful for self gain

2. Truly, Sandy Onor did not support nor vote for his Presidential candidate ATIKU ABUBAKAR whom his Master Nyesome Wike worked against.

3. This is indeed an aspect of secretive anti-party affairs at the detriment of the general masses

4. Come to think of it... As a River State emperor's boy; how would your master cry against injustice meted by the PDP NWC while his boy is desperate in tearing the state apart and also relocate Cross River government house to River State.

Cross Riverians shine your eyes...o
VOTE for Sen. Prince Otu for all beyond party lines

THE MIS-GUIDED MISSILES OF AN ETHNIC BIGOTRY.

By Lawrence Duke
11th March 2023

Ethnic bigotry, also known as racism or racial prejudice, is a harmful and destructive force that can have severe negative consequences for individuals, communities, and societies as a whole. Some of the ills of ethnic bigotry include:

Discrimination:
Ethnic bigotry can lead to discrimination, in which individuals are treated unfairly or unjustly on the basis of their race or ethnicity. This can take many forms, such as being denied job opportunities, housing, or educational opportunities.

Stereotyping:
Ethnic bigotry can also lead to the creation and perpetuation of negative stereotypes about particular groups of people. These stereotypes can be harmful and inaccurate, and can contribute to a climate of intolerance and hostility.

Violence:
In some cases, ethnic bigotry can escalate into violence, with individuals or groups being targeted for physical harm or even murder because of their race or ethnicity.

Social fragmentation:
Ethnic bigotry can create divisions and mistrust between different groups in society, leading to social fragmentation and a breakdown in social cohesion.

Economic inequality:
Ethnic bigotry can also contribute to economic inequality, with certain groups facing greater barriers to education, employment, and economic opportunity than others.

Mental and physical health impacts: Experiencing ethnic bigotry can have negative impacts on an individual's mental and physical health, including increased stress and anxiety, depression, and physical health problems such as high blood pressure and heart disease.

Ethnic bigotry, Such as displayed by the gubernatorial candidate of the PDP in CRS has destructive tendencies that can cause significant harm to individuals and societies. It is important to recognize and challenge such attitudes and behaviors in order to build a more just, equitable and egalitarian society.

Sen. Prince Bassey Otu's Thank You Tour South LGA!!!

I created the Slogan "Ini Nnyin Edi Emi" To Create Awareness That Power Should Return To The South - Senator Ita Giwa

Princess Florence Ita Giwa Monday stated that the Slogan " Ini Nnyin Edi Emi" was borne out of the need to create awareness among the people of the southern Senatorial district that it is their turn to produce the next Governor of Cross River State.

She made the assertion when the Gubernatorial candidate of the APC Prince Bassey Otu visited the palace of the Obong of Calabar to seek for support and receive royal blessings for the task ahead.

According to Senator Ita Giwa, " Governor Ben Ayade made a promise to return power to the south based on the overwhelming support he got from the south during his second term elections, and today he has kept that promise, but there have been times that it seems we are not appreciative enough of what we have been given that is why we came up with the Slogan " Ini Nnyin Edi Emi" to galvanize and ginger support in the southern Senatorial district".

Continuing senator Ita Giwa said " I have nothing against the other party choosing to field a candidate from another Senatorial district, after all he is a Cross Riverian he is free to contest, but we have to work hard to win this election to establish that balance and equity so that the next generation will know that when it is your turn, it is your turn".

In his remarks, the gubernatorial candidate of the APC in Cross River State Prince Bassey Edet Otu said he was at the palace to thank his eminence and the entire Etubom council for their spiritual backing which helped him emerge as the gubernatorial candidate of his party.

“Your eminence, we have only come to say thank you for standing behind us, for your spiritual backing all through the process up to my nomination as the gubernatorial candidate of my party, the APC. I wish to say thank you.

I also came here to thank those your children who backed me up during the primaries even when I did not give them a dime. I came to thank you and also inform you that I will be embarking on a thank you tour of the entire Southern senatorial district, to appreciate all those who stood by us and that is why we are here sir " Senator Otu quipped.

Responding, The Obong of Calabar, his Eminence, Edidem Ekpo Okon Abasi Otu VI, reaffirmed his commitment on the back to south movement , adding that " There is no contest it is the turn of the south".

According to the king, " looking at the calibre of people who accompanied Sen. Otu to this palace, it is clear that Cross River State is here and that is all that we need."

" This goes to show that the whole state is in agreement that power should rotate among the three zones for equity and fairness." Edidem Abasi Otu said.

He thanked Governor Ayade for standing by his words and returning power to the south despite the antics of desperate politicians.

Dignitaries at the event include, Sen. Victor Ndoma Egba, Chief Mrs Winifred Oyo-Ita, Prof. Eyo Etim Nyong, Dr. Betta Edu, High Chief Edem Duke, Barr. Fidelis Ugbo Mr Asuquo Ekpenyong, Mr Peter Odey, Chief Peter Okie, Ambassador Sonny Abang, among others.
