This Unizik Student Just Passed Away

Miss Ajana Isabella, a 100-level Law student at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, reportedly died after a staff member of Elmada Hostel allegedly insisted that everyone in her room pay a N120,000 penalty (N40,000 per occupant) for losing their room’s key.

It was said that Miss Isabella informed the hostel staff that she was diabetic and needed to access her insulin inside the locked room, but the staff allegedly insisted she comply with the rules. Her health deteriorated, and she collapsed. She was rushed to the hospital but did not survive 💔🥹
