Looking at the contemporary politiics we all play, you'll speak with absolute concurrence to the fact that in the game of politics, etiquettes, norms, and conventions is always practicable and those conventions set up by our fathers continue to meander its way through as long as we all are political animals according to the great Aristotle.
Therefore, I wish to reiterate overtly without any clandestine motives that it would augur well for each and every member of the Blazers republic, if we, in absolute and stringent adherence to the traditions of our noble institution choose who heads us at the hems of affairs as we blaze the trails to the great beyond academically, intellectually, peacefully and jingoistically.
We have to respect the powers of conventions and know that every year, power is equitably and without restraints shared to every zone, faculty, tribe and department so we all in unionism enjoy the bonafide dividends of democracy. It would be a shame, if we unanimously choose to ignore our traditions, our conventions, and our politics that make us who we are and what we stand for.
A true stakeholder and unionist will respect the politics of our conventions, a true stakeholder will know that in politics, some certain principles and steps apply, a true stakeholder acknowledges the formula and makes sure it is applicable in every politics we play. Don't allow the greed for power to drive us to make decisions that conspicuously acts as an impediment and an encumberance to good governance, interests, the formula, and the will of the people.
People have come and gone. Rigt from the days of Com. Egbe Jerome, Com. Maxwell Oko, Com, Ekpenyong, Sen. Victor Ndifon and now Com. Nchor Julius, you'll discover power has been rotating for balance and peace, let power keep rotating, let power not be concentrated in one place, power should go round 'cause just like Baron De Montesquieu said ''absolute power corrupts absolutely'' respect the politics and conventions of CRUTECH and whoever tries to defile and destroy this politics which has been globally accepted without antagonism, will be a disgrace to his generation, a disgrace to our politics and a disgrace to their future because they destroyed what our future was built on. Power must go round, it is your duty to make power go round. Say no to ethnocentricism and respect the wishes of the people.
