PENTECOST SERVICE
Sunday, May 24, 2026
The sanctuary was filled with an overwhelming sense of reverence and spiritual renewal as the congregation gathered to culminate the sacred season.
Before diving into the core message, the Area Supervisor paused to register her profound gratitude to the ministerial team, prayer team, Pentecost committee, chief elders, elders, stewards, deacons, deaconesses, choristers, and the entire membership for their active and dedicated participation throughout the seven-day Pentecost service.
She further extended special appreciation to the Zonal Supervisor, Pastor Unyime Asuquo, for his valuable spiritual backup and support throughout the period.
*But by My Spirit says the Lord of host*
The spiritual charge was dynamically delivered by the Area Supervisor, Overseer Mrs. Victoria Williams. Drawing from the profound truth of Zechariah 4:6, her message served as a powerful reminder of humanity's total dependence on divine intervention.
Overseer Williams emphasized that everything we do, accomplish, or overcome in life is entirely detached from human strength, intellectual capacity, or physical capability. Rather, true victory and lasting achievements are orchestrated solely by the Spirit of the Living God. She reminded the church that our God is sovereign and uniquely handles our matters in ways that defy human logic.
The Reality of the Visitation: Expectant Hearts
A central pillar of the sermon focused on the spiritual exchange that occurs in God's presence. Overseer Williams noted that:
Just as a physical visitor rarely leaves a host empty-handed, it is spiritually impossible to dwell in the intentional presence of God for seven days and return home empty. God does not operate on human timelines or methodologies. He handles our challenges, breakthroughs, and destinies in beautifully distinct ways that reveal His ultimate glory.
The Woman of God concluded with a vital charge to the congregation, urging believers to shift their gaze away from self-reliance, personal connections, or natural abilities. Instead, she encouraged the church to lean heavily on the Holy Spirit, who is the true catalyst for every breakthrough and supernatural elevation.
"We cannot tarry in the presence of God for seven glorious days and leave empty-handed. Remember, it is not by your power, but by the Spirit of the Lord."
