Gov. Buni lnspects Road Projects

H. E. the Executive Governor of Yobe State, Hon. Mai Mala Buni CON COMN, today inspected the Maisandari to Gambir road and, the 5km township road projects linking Moduri , Ben kalio and Don Etibet Housing Estates in Damaturu, urging the contractors to ensure timely completion of the projects.

He also charged Ministry of Works on effective supervision, and compliance to specifications for government to have value for its money.

Hon. Aji Bularafa Condoles the Executive Chairman of Gulani LGA..

Honorable Commissioner Ministry of Wealth Creation,, Empowerment and Employment Generation Yobe state Alh Aji Yerima Bularafa, (Mal Terab of Gujba and Kadafur of Tikau), today condoled with the Executive Chairman of Gulani Local Government Area Alhaji Dayyabu Ilu Njibulwa over the loss of his Son Muhaammad Ɗayyabu Ilu (Kabiru)

Mal Terab of Gujba was in Njibulwa at the Executive Chairman Residence to condole with the Chairman and his family over the demise of Kabiru.

He said although it is painful losing a loved one but that is the will of Allah and as Muslims, we must submit and accept the will of our creator the Almighty Allah a revelation in the Holy Quran which says "Kullu Nafsin Za'ikatul Maut"

Mal Terab of Gujba prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive the shortcomings of the deceased and grant him Aljannatul Firdaus.

He also prayed to God to grant the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

NGF SUPPORTS STATE POLICE TO CURB SECURITY CHALLENGE

The Northern Governors Forum has called on the National Assembly to institute a legislation for the creation of state police to boost security across the country.

This is contained in a communique at the end of its meeting on Saturday which was read by the Chairman of the Forum, and Governor of Gombe state, Alh. Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya.

He said "the Forum resolved to support the creation of state police and called on the National Assembly to expedite action on the enactment of the legal framework for the its take off"

The Forum resolved to boost inter state border survellience to effectively combat insurgency, banditry and other crimes

It also appreciated the Federal government in addressing security challenges and infrastructural deficits in Nigeria.

The Forum also expresses its determination for enhanced synergy with the Nigeria Governors Forum in combating the security challenges.

The meeting was attended by the 19 Northern Governors and state Chairmen of the traditional rulers.
