I am a Yoruba man and always will be a Yoruba man but when you see a leader with substance you have to sit down and listen. These are the qualities we should look for in our leaders, actions that inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more. Biafra lost the war but he Ojukwu reassessed Nigeria's situation and realised that we can be better if we cooperate. A great leader is not necessarily the one who does the great things. He Ojukwu is the one that got the people to do the great things. Kanu should learn from him, am not saying that Nigeria is a paradise but there are ways to do things. War is out of the question, Ojukwu realised that before he passed away. Cooperation between Yoruba and Igbo is the key, not all the insults Kanu is pushing around. If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, lets go together (Yoruba & Igbo). Together we can achieve extraordinary results. Restructuring of Nigeria is the only peaceful way out. Rest in perfect peace great leader.

MAGU WRITES THE SALAMI PANEL

THE CHAIRMAN,
The Presidential Investigation Committee
On The Alleged Mismanagement Of
Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC)
Federal Government Recovered Assets and Finances
From May 2015 to May 2020.

Attention: Hon Justice Isa Ayo Salami (Rtd)
Gentlemen:
PUBLICATIONS PREJUDICIAL TO THE PROCEEDINGS OF THIS HONOURABLE PANEL
We act as Counsel of Choice to Mr Ibrahim Mustafa Magu, the suspended Acting Chairman of the EFCC hereinafter referred to as “Our Client” and on whose behalf and specific instructions we write as follows:
This is a follow-up to our letter dated 10th July, 2020 on behalf of our client.
Please be advised that the attention of our client has been drawn to serial falsehood publications in the media in respect of matters which never featured in the proceedings of this Honourable Panel.
These falsehood publications being orchestrated in the media include the following:

NFIU SUBMITS REPORT ON MAGU’S FOREX TRANSACTIONS TO PANEL (SEE THE PUNCH OF TUESDAY, JULY 14, 2020)
This report was published in The PUNCH on Tuesday July 14, 2020.
Our client states categorically that he has not been confronted on alleged illegal transactions and no such report was tendered by NFIU in any proceedings before this panel involving him till date.
Our client states categorically that the maximum forex transactions he has been involved in is the sum of $10,000 (Ten Thousand Dollars) till date.
Our client also wishes to place on record that he has no link with Kaduna-based Bureau De Change Operator as erroneously reported in the publication.
ALLEGED N573 MILLION NAIRA DUBAI PROPERTY LINKED TO MAGU
This allegation is outright falsehood and is denied by our client in unmistakable terms. It is instructive to state that the General Overseer of Divine Hand of God Prophetic Ministries, Prophet Emmanuel Omale, in a pre-litigation letter addressed to News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), on Monday 13th July, 2020, denied the allegations that he bought a property in Dubai worth N573 million on behalf of our client. Our client challenges his accusers to provide details of such property and proof of ownership by our client. Instructively, The PUNCH at Page 8 of Tuesday July 14th, 2020 had published the denial of Prophet Emmanuel Omale to set the record straight.
ALLEGED DIVERSION OF INTEREST ON RECOVERED FUNDS (SUNDAY PUNCH EDITION OF 12TH JULY, 2020)
This Publication on Front Page of Sunday Punch Edition of 12th of July, 2020 is outright falsehood.
Our client states that all recovered funds are lodged with TSA Account with Central Bank of Nigeria. It is elementary that funds in TSA Account lodged with CBN do not generate interest. It is therefore falsehood to publish that our client placed N500 billion (Five Hundred and Fifty Billion) recovered loot into deposit account. The alleged transaction never featured in the proceedings before this Honourable Panel. Our client was never confronted with any such allegation in the proceedings before this panel and the news is blatant falsehood.
DAY 6: PANEL QUIZZES MAGU ON N700 MILLION TRAINING FUND (VANGUARD, TUESDAY 14TH JULY, 2020)
The allegation that this Panel requested our client to account for the sum of N700 million meant for the commission’s operatives is not true. Our client has not been confronted with such allegation by this Honourable Panel. Our client does not disburse any such funds in the EFCC. The immediate Director of Finance and Administration (DFA) summoned by the Panel must have furnished details on this as the custodian of the funds. Our client denies this allegation completely. Funds earmarked for training was properly utilised by the Commission. The DFA and the Director of Audit will explain the utilisation of the funds meant for training with supporting documentations.
ALLEGED BID TO SPIRIT MAGU AWAY BUSTED (VANGUARD, JULY 14TH 2020 PG. 5)
The allegation that there were plans by some associates of our client to spirit him out of detention as published above is complete fabrication. Since our client has been in detention Nine (9) days ago, he has cooperated maximally with Law Enforcement Agents. Our client is only allowed very few restricted and fully screened visitors. No such incident took place as reported and this is an attempt to bring our client on collision course with the authorities he respects enormously. Our client, as a commissioner of police, will never escape from custody as he remains innocent and a patriotic citizen.
SALAMI PANEL GRILLS MAGU, EFCC DIRECTORS AGAIN
(DAILY TRUST, TUESDAY 14TH JULY, 2020 PG. 3)
The allegation that our client was grilled by the Panel on Monday, 13th July, 2020 as reported above is complete falsehood. The correct position was that our client and his Counsel (Mr. Wahab Sh*ttu) arrived the venue of the ongoing Investigations on Monday 13th July, 2020 by 9am. Our client and his Counsel were kept at the waiting room of the venue of the sittings unattended to from 9am to 9pm when our client was taken back to custody. This followed the same pattern on Thursday and Friday last week when our client waited for 12 hours without being called upon by the Panel to partake in the proceedings. Witnesses called by the Panel were interrogated by the Panel without the participation of our client or his Counsel in the proceedings. This was also the pattern on Tuesday, 14th July, 2020. Our client chose to wait patiently on the panel.
ALLEGED PAYMENT OF N4 BILLION TO PROF. YEMI OSINBAJO SAN, GCON, VICE-PRESIDENT OF THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA
Our client strongly denies this falsehood against the respected Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Our client has never given the sum of N4billion or any sum at all to Prof. Yemi Osinbajo SAN, GCON, Vice President of Federal Republic of Nigeria as wrongly reported. This allegation is complete falsehood designed to tarnish the hard-earned reputation of the Vice President and our client.
ALLEGED PAYMENT OF N28 MILLION TO FEMI FALANA SAN
This allegation is complete fabrication. Our client never gave N28 million or any amount to Mr Femi Falana SAN as maliciously reported. Our client also denies any link with a Kaduna-based Bureau De Change Operator as alleged.
SEARCH OF OUR CLIENT’S HOUSE – NO INCRIMINATING EVIDENCE FOUND
Our client confirms that his House was searched last Monday in his absence while in custody, but no incriminating evidence was found. It is untrue as reported that some dollars and expensive jewelries and wrist watches were found. Our client states that the search into his house did not reveal any incriminating evidence or materials. The cars removed from his residence were official vehicles assigned to our client as acting Chairman of EFCC.
DENIAL OF COPIES OF ALLEGATIONS AGAINST OUR CLIENT
Our client is spending the 9th day in custody without being given copy of the allegations against him to enable him formally respond to same. Our client is ready to formally respond to allegations and furnish documentary evidence in support if served with the copy of the allegations.
Our client respectfully demands the following:
a) A copy of the report of the Presidential Audit Committee
b) A copy of the memo of HAGF to the President on our client
c) Individual Petitions submitted to the Panel against our client.
Our client observes that rather being afforded copies of the allegations against him, some of these allegations are flying round on Social Media platforms with prejudicial consequences. Our client requests that these allegations be formally served on him to enable him respond to same immediately.
Our client observes that the Panel has issued official statement to the effect that it did not authorise the detention of our client. We request the Panel to recommend to the Inspector General of Police in whose custody our client is to release him from custody to enable him adequately prepare his defence and attend to his failing health. We plead with the authorities to release our client from custody.
QUESTIONS OVER ALLEGED N5BILLION ELECTION FUND (VANGUARD, MONDAY, JULY 13, 2020)
Our client denies receiving from INEC or anybody the sum of N5billion Election Fund as maliciously reported above. Our client has never been confronted with the alleged N5billion Election Fund by this Panel. This outrageous sum quoted above is outright falsehood. Funds released by INEC to EFCC were disbursed directly to the beneficiaries who participated in the electoral process. This information can be verified from the INEC Chair, the Director of Finance and Administration EFCC and Director of Audit respectively. Our client has absolutely nothing to do with the sum disbursed as Electoral Fund and never benefitted from the disbursement. The story is complete fabrication designed to tarnish the image of our client.
ALLEGED FAILURE TO SUBMIT EFCC AUDITED ACCOUNTS FOR FOUR (4) YEARS (THISDAY, MONDAY, JULY 13, 2020).
This publication above is complete fabrication. The truth is that EFCC under our client’s watch is not in arrears on the submission of Audited Accounts. EFCC has complied in the submission of Audited Accounts for four years running. The Audited Account for 2020 will be due statutorily for submission in September, 2020 by virtue of Section 37 of the EFCC Act, 2004.
DSS, POLICE GO AFTER NFIU OFFICE BURGLARS (DAILY SUN, MONDAY, JULY 13, 2020).
Our client denies any link in the alleged burgling of the office of the Nigerian Financial Intelligence Unit (NFIU), located at No 12, Ibrahim Taiwo Street, A*o Villa. Our client has no link with the Kaduna-based Bureau De Change (BDC) as reported. Our client states that an attempt to link him with the burglary or the Bureau De Change is a cheap blackmail. Our Client calls for investigation to unravel the truth.
SUSPENDED EFCC BOSS ALLEGEDLY QUERIED OVER 322 RECOVERED PROPERTIES DAILY SUN JULY 13TH, 2020
It is untrue that this Honourable Panel queried our client over 322 recovered properties. In the interrogation of our client so far this has never featured even if the head of Assets Forfeiture of the EFCC has appeared before the Penal. Our client has also not been given a copy of the report of the Presidential Committee on Audit of Recovered Assets (PCARA). This publication is complete fabrication. The truth is that EFCC under our client’s watch is ready to respond to this allegation if obliged a copy of PCARA.
There has been no mismanagement of and certainly, there is no lack of transparency in the management of recovered assets under the leadership of our client. Our client’s detailed explanations are as follows:
SEIZED PROPERTIES ALLEGEDLY CORNERED BY TOP EFCC OFFICIALS, MAGU’S FRIENDS – PANEL (THE PUNCH, JULY 13TH, 2020)
The above publication is outright falsehood. Our client requests answers to the following:

a) Who are the EFCC officials who cornered the properties?
b) What specific properties were cornered? And by who?
c) Who were these Magu’s friends who cornered these properties?
Our client insists that these imputations attributed to the Panel are outright falsehood. Our client states that these allegations never featured in the proceedings of the panel.

GENERAL COMMENTS
The charges against our client are trumped-up allegations designed to tarnish his image and rubbish the credibility and image of EFCC which has been Stellar and outstanding under our client’s watch.
Based on the above circumstances, our client was not given adequate time and facilities for his defence and his demand for a copy of the allegations against him has not been honoured till date.
We appeal to the Honourable Panel to consider the above and uphold the Fundamental Rights to fair hearing of our client.
Kindly find attached, copies of these newspapers for ease of reference.
Please accept our best Professional Regards.

A statement manufactured by manipulative as****es and leeches.. And been celebrated by hopeless simps.

"Invest in yourself, so when she's leaving.. You can get a lady 20× better than her and tell her to go to to hell ".. There I fixed it.

Normalize loving men for who they are.. And not for how much they can spend massaging your overbloated ego..

"Date a Woman that adds values to your life not a liability .. They all have va**na"

You're the prize homie.. Always remember that.

You're not an alternative for anyone.. Be a king.

Never open your wallet to keep a woman.
Only open your wallet out of generosity.. . Not to buy love. (There's a difference)

If she belongs to the street.. . She belongs to the street.. Even if you're Dangote.. You still can't keep her.

2. Adamawa
Adamawa was named after a warrior, Modibbo Adama Bin Ardo Hassan, that conquered the region in the beginning of the 19th century.

PRESS RELEASE BY THE HONOURABLE MINISTER OF STATE, LABOUR AND EMPLOYMENT, MR. FESTUS KEYAMO, SAN, FCIArb (UK)- JUNE 30, 2020

PURPORTED SUSPENSION OF SELECTION PROCESS OF 774,000 JOBS BY NATIONAL ASSEMBLY COMMITTEES:
ALL STATES’ SELECTION COMMITTEES SHOULD PROCEEED WITH THEIR WORK UNHINDERED.

Today, in obedience to their invitation, I appeared before the Joint Committees on Labour of both the Senate and the House. The Distinguished Senators and Honourable Members sought to be briefed on the implementation of the Special Public Works Programme so far.

However, there was a misunderstanding between us when they questioned why I did not privately submit the program to them for vetting before taking certain steps. They suggested that they ought to have an input on how the programme should be implemented. In other words, they sought to control the programme as to who gets what, where and how.

However, I insisted that I could not surrender the programme to their control since their powers under the constitution does not extend to that. They insisted on a closed door session.

At this point, I remarked that it was only fair for me to respond to their position before the press, since their own position was also made public. In any case, I remarked that the Nigerian people deserve to know the details of the ex*****on of this all-important programme.

I was then asked to apologize for insisting on a public interaction and I said there was nothing to apologize about, because their powers to expose corruption provided for in section 88 of the Constitution cannot be exercised in private. As such, there was no need to apologize by insisting on a Constitutional provision. Even their Rules that may provide for private hearings on public matters cannot override the provisions of the Constitution. I was then permitted to leave. I took a bow and left. I NEVER walked out on the respected Committees as they may want to bend the narrative.

After I left, I understand that the Joint Committees purportedly suspended the work of the Selection Committees nationwide until they decide how the programme should be run and who should be in those Committees. My opinion is that it is tantamount to challenging the powers of Mr. President.

I regret to say that their powers under section 88 of the 1999 Constitution is only limited to investigations, but NOT TO GIVE ANY DIRECTIVE TO THE EXECUTIVE.

A Committee or Committees of both Houses do not even have powers to pass binding Resolutions. They can only make recommendations to Plenary. In this case, even Plenary CANNOT give DIRECTIVES to the Executive.

All my life, I have fought for good governance and constitutional democracy. I will not come into government and be intimidated to abandon those principles. I will rather leave this assignment, if Mr. President so directs than compromise the jobs meant for ordinary Nigerians who have no Godfathers or who are not affiliated to any political party.

I therefore, respectfully further direct all the Committees set up nationwide made up of CAN, NSCIA, NURTW, Market Women, CSOS, Youth Organisations, respected traditional rulers, etc to proceed with their work unhindered. Only Mr. President can stop their work.

Thank you.

FESTUS KEYAMO, SAN, FCIArb(UK)

BENEFITS OF AKK GAS PIPELINE PROJECT, BY PRESIDENT BUHARI

President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday affirmed the Nigerian government's commitment to ensure timely delivery of the landmark Ajaokuta-Kaduna-Kano Gas (AKK) pipeline project within budgetary allocation and specifications.

Speaking at the virtual flag-off ceremony of the project at the Ajaokuta, Kogi State and Rigachikun, Kaduna State camp sites simultaneously, President Buhari said the project was very dear to the people of Nigeria and must succeed.

The President, therefore, directed the NNPC and partners to remain focused, noting that the AKK project is part of the delivery of the present administration’s Next Level Agenda for sustainable development, enhancement of economic prosperity and increase of the country’s infrastructure assets.

Governors Yahaya Bello of Kogi State and Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna physically flagged off the commencement of works at Ajaokuta and Rigachikun sites, while the President watched remotely via video-conference from the Council Chamber in Abuja.

President Buhari said: ‘‘we promised the Nation that we will expand the critical gas infrastructure in the country to promote the use of gas in the domestic market.

‘‘These include the Escravos to Lagos Pipeline System - 2 (ELPS-2), Obiafu to Obrikom (OB3) pipeline and AKK.

‘‘These projects are fundamental to our desire to industrialize and energize the entrepreneurial spirit that is ever present in our population.’’

Enumerating the benefits of the project, billed to be completed in two years, the President said it will provide gas for generation of power and for gas-based industries which would facilitate the development of new industries.

It will also ensure the revival of moribund industries along transit towns in Kogi State, Abuja (FCT), Niger State, Kaduna State and Kano State, he said, adding that the cascading effect and impact of the AKK, when operational, will be immeasurable.

His words: ‘‘It has significant job creation potential both direct and indirect, while fostering the development and utilization of local skills and manpower, technology transfer and promotion of local manufacturing.’’

President Buhari announced that Nigeria had learnt invaluable lessons from the global COVID-19 pandemic and some oil rich countries that have used their crude as a pathway to economic and industrial diversification.

On COVID-19, the President said the pandemic had further underscored the drive of his administration for export substitution initiatives and projects that promote local manufacturing.

On diversification, the President said: ‘‘Gulf countries that have similar levels of gas reserves as Nigeria, have a strategy centered around gas-industrialization as their foundation towards export diversification. This has to be our guiding principle as we seek to attract investment and create opportunities for our people.’’

The President also used the occasion to challenge the private sector to lead the charge in maximising the nation’s gas resources.

According to him the private sector can create a petrochemical hub that will resurrect the manufacturing industry and put the nation on the path to increased self-sufficiency.

‘‘As the world evolves, we owe our people the responsibility to prepare them for what the future holds. We, therefore, must be bold and fearless and can no longer be incremental in our approach.

‘‘Time is short, and our people’s zeal is strong and palpable. Infrastructure development although long, tedious and complex remains a cardinal objective of our Administration’s drive towards ensuring a stable, sustainable and more prosperous future for our citizenry.

‘‘Today marks an important chapter in the history of our great Nation. It marks the day when our domestic natural gas pipeline networks; from Obiafu in Rivers State, Escravos in Delta State and Lekki in Lagos State, are being connected through Kaduna to Kano States thereby enhancing national energy security, creating balanced development, and further integrating our nation,’’ he said.

The President commended the Government of the People's Republic of China; the financiers the Bank of China and SINOSURE; and the two EPC Contractors (Brentex/China Petroleum Pipeline Bureau-CPP Consortia and Oilserve/China First Highway Engineering Company-CFHEC Consortia) for their support to deliver the important project.

He also congratulated the Ministry of Petroleum Resources, NNPC and all relevant stakeholders on the historic and epoch-making occasion, commending the resilience of the team to deliver on the project despite the COVID-19 pandemic.

The President appealed to Governors of Kogi, Niger, Kaduna and Kano States as well as the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory to provide the enabling environment and support for the project.

In his remarks, Mallam Mele Kyari, Group Managing Director, NNPC, explained that the AKK gas pipeline project, which is part of the Trans-Nigeria gas pipeline project, involves the establishment of a connecting gas pipeline network that will integrate the Northern region of the country with the Niger Delta, Eastern and Western regions of the Country.

He said the EPC contract for the 614km AKK gas pipeline project was awarded at a total contract sum of US$2.592 billion to Messrs. Oilserv Plc/China First Highway Engineering Company (Oilserv/CFHEC Consortium) for the first segment covering 303km.

According to the GMD NNPC, Messrs. Brentex Petroleum Services/China Petroleum Pipeline Bureau (Brentex/CPP Consortium) got the contract for the second segment covering 311km under a debt-equity financing model with loan from Bank of China and SINOSURE, to be repaid through the pipeline transmission tariff and supported by a sovereign guarantee.

‘‘We are confident that the EPC contractors will deliver the project on time, within budget and to quality/specifications,’’ he said.

Kyari added that upon completion, the project would enable the injection of 2.2bscf/d of gas into the domestic market and facilitate additional power generation capacity of 3,600MW.

DICTATOR WANNABE HOPE UZODIMMA IS TOO SMALL TO SILENCE THE OPPOSITION IN IMO

By: Ambrose Nwaogwugwu, 30/06/2020.

Obierika, Okonkwo's best friend in Umuofia in the novel of my mentor and personal idol – Prof. Chinua Achebe; Things Fall Apart, is often seen by Okonkwo as a fearful and a coward but something happened in Umuofia that made Obierika to prove Okonkwo wrong: he muttered the courage for the first time in his life and reprimanded the the white man.

The white men then were seen as demigods, always unchallenged in most of their atrocious deeds to Umuofians and just like happy slaves so in love with their chains - they saw no evil and of course, said none.

An event liberated the courage of Obierika that made him to talk against their slave master for the first time in his life in Umuofia; Okonkwo hung himself to death in protestations to the unfairness and injustice with which the white man treated his people and that was what emboldened Obierika, and of course, other people of Umuofia.

Obierika summoned his first courage to talk against the white men in Umuofia - according to one review account of the classic novel, the reviewer noted that Obierika's words were 'choked' and he barely muttered that Okonkwo was one of the greatest man of Umuofia and by the acts of injustice of the white man.. They drove him to kill himself.

He bore an eloquent testimony of Okonkwo that couldn't have been possible because of the presence of the feared white men, but he dared.

In Imo state, since the inception of the Supreme Court imposed regime of Mr. Hope Uzodimma, it was as if there are no longer 'men' in Imo, apparently, there were happy slaves who were so in love with their chains that they even make excuses for the Supreme Court Governor for his gross ineptitude in the administration of the state.

By the protestations of Okonkwo, the people of Umuofia for the first time in their life got emboldened that they talked against their slave masters....so was also the case of Imo.

When I accepted to go the way of the Golgotha, our people who were hittetho in love with their slavish chains got emboldened and revolted against the Mr. Uzodimma APC led regime by challenging the anti people policies of the regime and started asking critical questions of good governance.

The truth of the matter is that Mr. Hope Uzodimma wants a one party state where he is allowed to function as a sole administrator nay a despot. He wants a state where no one questions his incompetency and gross manifestation of administrative recklessness, bad governance and maladministration.

Fact is, Mr. Hope Uzodimma is a well rounded failure. You may call him a capital failure if you are not too lenient with expressive words, and that is why he doesn't want opposition because he doesn't want those who will expose his gross inadequacies.

He either cajoles you into their headless camp of happy slaves with financial inducement or try to use state power to blackmail you to silence and that was exactly what happened in my own case. They have come severally requesting that I join them in their slave camp, they asked me to name my price - infact they used one prominent chief from my place, he promised to take me to the Supreme Court Governor and asked me to name whatever my party, the PDP, are paying me and they will pay me in their slave camp times 10 of whatever renumeration I do receive in the PDP and when all these inducements were not turning in their expected results, they activated their plan B which is using state power to silence me.

First, they went to the commissioner of Police in Owerri and the gentleman, a man of integrity, told them off that his office could not decend to the lows of being used by politicians to undo their fellow politicians. The commissioner of Police was very clear in telling them that his office can not be used to achieve political persecution and off they went to the DSS and found favour in the tables of that notorious woman.

In the DSS in Imo state command, the Director General is known in the command as the 'madam of the Command' and that points out to her level of notoriety and in no small way explained why she accepted the briefs from the Supreme Court Governor of Imo state to persecute fellow politicians in arbitrary use of state power to pursue political vendetta, cow voices of dissents and intimidate opposing views. The woman threw caution to the gutters and desecrated her office and descended to the lowness of making it a political witch-hunting tool where politicians use same to intimidate, harass, subdue and persecute their political opponents.

The DSS, Imo State command, as a lawless organization, the 'madam of the command' made her office available for the Hope Uzodimma led APC regime as a political witch-hunting tool to intimidate and persecute fellow politicians in apparent display of tyranny and raw naked power akim to the days of military dictatorship.

On that fateful Thursday, I went to the SSS (I was accompanied by my party chairman, Chief Sir. Martins Ejiogu) after receiving an invitation from one Mr. Chris Nwachukwu who identified himself as the Director of investigation of SSS and requested that I come to their command to answer some questions and off I went - as a responsible and law abiding citizen of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and fearing not having any cockroaches in my cupboard, I went to answer officers of the law but with the express orders of the Madam of the command, that very innocuous visit which was supposed to be for questioning got me into being detained illegally for over 20 days with no access to neither my family, my lawyers, my party faithful nor friends. I was detained in perpetuaty according to the orders of the madam of the command in carrying out the hatchet jobs of Mr. Hope Uzodimma and his gangs of imposters.

Almost 30 days that Mr. Hope Uzodimma put me into illegal detention; they have accused me of many things including terrorism with no single charge. That shows how clueless and confused the regime of Mr. Hope Uzodimma is.

And laughably, for over this one month period I have been incarcerated and persecuted by the Supreme Court imposed regime in Imo State led by Mr. Hope Uzodimma, they have not been able to articulate one single charge against me in any court of competent jurisdiction. I have not even been charged for any crime not even in a Sharia Court.

That the whole office of the attorney general of the state - as broad and sophisticated the office is, and that of Department of Public Prosecution which is also another legal prosecutory branch of the state government and or, any other legal branch of the state government - none of them have been able to approach any court with charges against me. It is that shameful. There is no single charge against me.

Their plot for the repressive and reprehensive brutal orchestration against me was to cow, intimidate, silence and break me and to also use it in serving as dettarant to other voices of dissents that may be mounting as opposition to the failing regime but like Okonkwo, I gave in myself that many Obierika's may arise to challenge this oppressive and anti people regime in saying capital NO to totalitarianism in our dear state.

The sole intention of the Supreme Court Governor of Imo State, Mr. Hope Uzodimma is, as a sore perpetual failure that he is, to either buy members of the opposition into his incompetent regime of looters and those refusing to bow to his Baal, he will use state powers and machinery to silence them so that there wouldn't be any form of opposition against his anti people and unpopular regime but how terribly mistaken he was. He led a lie to himself.

The problem with Mr. Hope Uzodimma is that he wants to be the ruling government and still dictate to the opposition how they will hold their regime to account. The Supreme Court imposed Governor wants to be the ruling government and still plays the role of the opposition and that is not permissible in any democratic government.

Like my mentor and personal idol Chinua Achebe also said "Nobody can teach me who I am. You can describe parts of me, but who I am - and what I need - is something I have to find out myself". The Supreme Court imposed regime can not teach the opposition how to carry out their constitutional duties of acting as watchdogs of the society and opposing unfavorable policies of the state government against the helpless citizens of the state but it is only the opposition that will know the best way it suit them to discharge their jobs creditably as opposition.

This is why it becomes a tall order and unrealizable and unrealistic dream for Mr. Hope Uzodimma and co travelers to muscle out the opposition in the state.

Even if there could be any state where the silencing of the opposition could be achieved; it is definitely not going to be a state like Imo where the overwhelming majority of the population are made up of politically active and enlightened people – They should be reminded of these unmistakable facts.

Moreso, it could not have even been achieved by not less a character like that of Mr. Hope Uzodimma who was a mere driver to Chief Moris Ibekwe. Uzodimma is too small, unintelligent, educationaly disadvantaged, very little in reckoning, etc to shutdown the opposition of a state as sophisticated as our dear Imo. The characters parading themselves as leaders of the state today in Imo were those Imo people chased out from the state in the 90s and what even made them to think that they can now muscle the people out? Bunch of jokers.

Uzodimma is still an amateur wannabe dictator who is learning the oppressive robes and has even fallen flat to his own failures, and this explains the reason he has fallen and failed even before they began against me.

This state routed out criminals, fraudsters like the characters in this regime today at a time and even stood vehemently against maximum dictators and maximum military rulers who ruled with iron fists and shots of gun talking less of a mere former driver who was imposed on the state by the Supreme Court who also could not win his own electoral ward.

With the persecution; I have been more emboldened to take on this regime like never before and I dare say that all I have written before now were just nothing. It is now, going forward, that the Supreme Court Governor will see the worst kind of me – if he thought that my critical stance against his regime has been daring, then, what will come ahead will be too fatal for his regime that it will be too devastating for them to handle, infact, it will be too devastating that it will chase them out of that government house. I have not even written anything and they are shivering like puppies whose mother dog refused to breastfeed, by the time I start, they will not only abscond from that seat, they will run away from the state.

My name is Ambrose Nwaogwugwu and I am unbreakable. Their incarceration was just a moulding process that will bring out the thorns and the best in me.

Thinking of harassing me with state security apparatus or otherwise to silence me is one of the greatest undoing the Supreme Court Governor has ever done all his whole life because if I'm given the opportunity to do what I have done that they are harassing me for, I will do it over and over and over again.

I have NO regrets whatsoever over the roles I have played that led to my incarceration by the Supreme Court Governor and the ones upcoming neither do I have any apology for anyone. I'm damn unapologetic and I dare the regime of Mr. Hope Uzodimma that they should expect the worst.

They accused me terrorism and all manner of absurdities. Ambrose Nwaogwugwu is not a terrorist as I have neither a stick nor any weapon of mass destruction but my PEN, everyone has always known me to be the true conscience of the state and I dare say that if I have ever committed any act of terrorism, it is a terrorism against injustice, it is a terrorism against oppression, it is a terrorism against non payment of workers salaries, it is a terrorism against bad governance, it is a definitely terrorism against non payment of dying pensioners of our aged parents who served the state in their days of prime.

In conclusion, I have to thank and appreciate all Imolite and even those who were not from our state who stood out for me in unrelenting solidarity and even those who were not too courageous enough to stand - I'm very grateful for your supports and maximum show of solidarity.

Special thanks and commendation to our great party - the largest and biggest democratic party in Africa - The People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Imo state ably led by our indefatigable chairman - Chief Sir. Martins Ejiogu for standing solidly strong before, during and after the whole madness of the Supreme Court Governor.

Also, special thanks and recognition goes to all the media platforms in the state and the national media platforms who used their platforms in protestations against my illegal and unlawful detention and also to my fellow comrades on this platform, all the pro democracy activists who stood to be counted and even those who were on the side the emperor.... I thank and appreciate you all.

We will continue to advance the course of democratic engagementa in Imo State and will continue to asking critical questions of good governance and no amount of state sponsored persecution or blackmail can stop us.

Thank you all.

Ambrose Nwaogwugwu is the Director General of Imo PDP New Media, he wrote from Owerri, Imo State.
