The Calvary Foundation Institute of Technology (CAFITECH) was established in 2011 by the Education Department of the Calvary Foundation International. The Institute was licensed as a Tertiary Institution by the Federal Ministry of Education and the National Board on Technical Education (NBTE) to award National Diploma. The Calvary Foundation International (Golgothas) is an International Non Govern
mental Organization established in Greece in 1975. The Foundation is affiliated to the Department of international co-operation and Development of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Greece, and collaborates with the United Nations. The Foundation signed a bilateral cooperation agreement with the Federal Government of Nigeria in April, 2011 to assist Nigeria in the following areas;
Promotion of Education at all levels, with emphasis on professionals, vocational and Technical Education. Promotion of Medical Research and provision of qualitative and affordable Health Care services. Collaborating with State Governments and other- interested regional and National Institutions in the areas of Science, Technology, Agriculture, Culture, Natural and Alternative medicines, for poverty Alleviation and job creation. The Foundation renders humanitarian assistance to needy communities in times of Natural disaster and propagates the word of God as her own Contribution to the spiritual development of man for a more disciplined and productive life. The Nigerian branch of Calvary Foundation International (GOLGOTHAS), was established in the January, 1980 and since then, has pursued tenaciously her mandate which resulted in the establishment of many educational and health institutions that have positively impacted on the lives of many Nigerians. The Calvary Foundation Nursery and Primary School, Enugu. The Calvary Foundation Vocational College and Secondary School Enugu. The Greek language and cultural center (which was established in collaboration with the Embassy of Greece in Nigeria). The Centre for Development studies, Enugu, Nigeria.
