Our Sustainability Team Lead, .isaac, recently took part in a workshop in Enugu that targeted selected women, focusing on sustainability and clean cooking technologies.

This workshop was organized by the Clean Technology Hub in collaboration with GIZ. It provided valuable insights into the environmental challenges posed by air pollution and its significant effects on women's health, as well as solutions for using waste to produce briquettes for stoves. This was an incredibly informative event.

As schools prepare to resume, we are pleased to announce the expansion of our waste recycling initiative to an additional 30 schools, complementing the 25 schools already participating. This brings the total number of schools utilizing our waste recycling services to 55.

This initiative is a significant step forward in promoting climate action in Enugu, with young innovators leading the charge toward a sustainable future. Their efforts are crucial in fostering a clean and green environment for all.

We have been enrolled in the course Phase I - Empower Africa Programme: Japan-Africa Partnership for Youth and Women’s Economic Resilience by the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR).

It is quite an opportunity, even though it is overwhelming with the various courses and assignments.

We look forward to finishing strong.

In August, as we celebrated International Youth Day, we were honored to be recognized as one of the Top 10 businesses in Enugu and to emerge as the winner of the pitch competition.

We want to express our gratitude to the organizers, particularly the Special Adviser to the Enugu State Government on Youth Affairs, as well as the Honorable Commissioner for Youth and pitch coach , for their guidance and support for the selected entrepreneurs.

We have received our award, and we are determined to continue our journey to the top.
