This is Social Work week. We celebrate the giant in us and use the knowledge about ourselves to assist others better.

Celebration of this great profession will not only revolve around sensitization, creation of awareness, advocacy etc but we shall find space for Self Care. Social workers are givers that's why they are rich and blessed. However, you cannot pore from an empty cup. You can not give what you don't have. Constant self development is competent.

Safety First. A client will be safe when the social worker is safe.
