On Thursday, 4th December, the Ministry sensitized the students of Community Secondary School Edem Ani, Nsukka LGA, Enugu State, on the urgent need to unite and end Digital Violence against Women and Girls.

During the visit, the school principal received simplified copies of the VAPP Law to support continuous awareness and strengthen prevention efforts among both teachers and students.

The Ministry of Children, Gender Affairs, and Social Development, led by the Hon. Commissioner Hon. Mrs. Ngozi Enih, officially flagged off the 2025 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence on Tuesday, 25th November, with a powerful road walk from the Ministry to Michael Okpara Square.

As part of the ongoing activities, the Permanent Secretary Mrs Nkechi Ewoh continued the advocacy with a media engagement on Monday, 1st December, reinforcing our commitment to raising awareness, amplifying survivors’ voices, and strengthening the fight against GBV in Enugu State.

Together, we stand for protection, justice, and a safer society for women, children, and all vulnerable groups.
