MONEY MAKING MONDAY

Long before Alexander Graham Bell invented the telephone, German schoolteacher named Reese almost did. Reese's phone could convey sounds of whistling and humming but not speech. Something was missing. Many years later when Reese had given up, Bell discovered his error. A tiny screw that controlled the electrodes was off by one one thousandth of an inch. When Bell made this minor adjustment, he was able to transmit speech loud and clear.
Think about it, an adjustment so small that you can barely measure it spelled the difference between success and failure and changed history.

It's been a long while of passiveness which Let's Read Club isn't known for.

We are back!!!
And we will soon be onto these online programmes in the fullness of time

But before then...
Let's do a contest of Quotes.

1. Send in your best Quotes between today Saturday 20th and Tuesday 23rd October 2018 for the preliminary stage.

2. Available online members will vote any quote that appeals to them.🤓
(Be fair plssss👏🏽)

3. There will be grading in voting system and it shall be done thus:
i) 🆒 or ❇ = 3 points
ii) 🆗 or ✅ = 4 points
iii) 🆙 or 💯 = 5 points

4. The top 10 points-earning members will qualify for the finals and will be announced on Wednesday(24th) morning by 7am. They will be expected to continue sending in more eye-catching quotes and breath-taking quotes till Friday 26th by 10pm. The results shall then be computed and announced on Saturday 27th by 7am.

5. After which the topmost 3 finalists will battle for the prize. The grand finale will run from Saturday 27th by 12pm up till Monday 29th by 12pm.

6. *N/B: The top 10 will be required to send in their pics for an update on LRC page and you are expected to invite your friends to vote for you as soon as the top 10 is announced* more details shall be announced on how the Facebook voting will be done on or before Monday.

7. The prizes are very attractive.

FACE OF LRC for a period of 2 weeks + #1000 (via transfer)

#500 worth of airtime
*3rd:*
#200 worth of airtime

8. No registration is required. Winners will be declared on Tuesday 30th on both WhatsApp and Facebook platforms.

9. Participants should be alert to report any repetition of quotes as it will not count.

10. When stating your quotes, you are not required to state the source of the quote. Just state it with your LRC literary name so as to be adequately captured.

NUGGET 1 LESSON:
Wake dissatisfied with your latest achievements/situation daily. Never consider using wrong means as an option to escape from the shackles of mediocrity. Don't run after your dreams....pursue them. Mediocrity is inversely proportional to significant success.

In the pitch of life, Mediocres are good defenders, I refuse to be a defender or a midfielder (a neutral and average person); I choose to courageously become an attacker, voraciously attacking to achieve all my academic, marital, business goal. I cannot be stopped.

MY CONFESSION:
I HATE MY CURRENT SITUATION NO MATTER HOW GOOD IT LOOKS. I DESIRE TO GROW BIGGER, STRONGER, WISER, BETTER AND HEALTHIER.
