A MESSAGE OF GRATITUDE, UNITY, AND RENEWED HOPE
My beloved brothers and sisters, the determined and good people of Yobe North, and indeed, the entire Yobe State, I greet you all with a heart full of gratitude.
As a vessel of your collective will, I am humbled by the sacred trust you have placed in me, following my affirmation on Monday, May 18, 2026, as the sole candidate of the All Progressives Congress for Yobe North Senatorial District. The affirmation of my candidacy is a fresh contract written in the ink of your aspirations, and I do not take that for granted.
While I am very grateful for this personal mandate, my joy is multiplied fourfold because I will not be walking this journey alone. I extend my most heartfelt congratulations to the consensus governorship candidate of the APC in Yobe, Alhaji Baba Malam Wali, mni, the former Secretary to the State Government, and to two extraordinary brothers and formidable leaders who have successfully carried the flags of our great party: my dear friend and brother, His Excellency, Governor Mai Mala Buni, CON, our Senatorial flagbearer for Yobe East, and the distinguished Senator Ibrahim Mohammed Bomai, for Yobe South Senatorial District.
This seamless and peaceful exercise would not have been possible without the dedication of the election committee from the APC National Secretariate and the Yobe State APC State Chapter.
Similarly, I commend the various security agencies who ensured that the affirmation process went on peacefully.
The success of Yobe State cannot be complete without acknowledging the courageous captain of our national ship. My appreciation, and indeed, the appreciation of every well-meaning Nigerian who loves this country, goes to His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, who is working assiduously to make our dear nation better and greater.
President Tinubu did not choose the easy path; he chose the necessary path. When history judges this era, it will record that in the face of global economic uncertainty, he stood firm and steered the nation towards the harbour of Renewed Hope. Indeed, Mr. President is matching vision with undeniable action.
It is against this backdrop of bold reforms and emerging stability that I echo the sentiment of millions of grateful citizens. In 2027, Nigeria must consolidate this progress. We cannot hand the wheel back to those who slept on duty. We must give President Bola Ahmed Tinubu the second term he requires to perfect this national rebirth.
May the Almighty Allah guide our steps, unite our hearts, and bless our collective efforts.
