*BENUE STATE EMERGES 2ND AT NATIONAL STAN Competition Akwa Ibom 2026 Glory Nursery and Primary School, Gboko Represents State with Excellence_

Glory Nursery And Primary School Gboko Benue State has recorded another feat in science education as it emerged 2nd position overall at the National Science Teachers Association of Nigeria, STAN, Competition primary category

The competition was held during the National STAN Conference in Akwa Ibom State, where students and teachers from across the 36 states and FCT converged to showcase innovation, research, and practical knowledge in science.

Representing Benue State at the prestigious event was *Glory Nursery and Primary School, Gboko*. WAR David ADAMGBE Daniel ICHEEN Favour The school’s outstanding performance earned Benue a spot on the national podium and brought pride to the state.

The achievement reflects the commitment of the Benue State Government, Ministry of Education, STAN Benue Chapter, teachers, parents, and learners to advancing STEM education in the state.

Stakeholders have applauded Glory Nurses and Primary School, Gboko for flying the Benue flag high and for proving that with dedication and hard work, Benue learners can compete favorably at the national level.

The state delegation has since returned to a warm reception, with calls for more investment in science education to help students do even better in future editions.
