FROM GOMBE SIP: GESTURE WORTHY OF APPRECIATION
As the Hausa adage goes, “Bakin da yaci zai shaida” — only he who tastes can testify. This aptly captures the joy and appreciation expressed by the staff of the Gombe State Social Investment Programme (SIP) after the State Coordinator, Aisha Adamu FCNA, generously presented them with bags of fertilizers to support and boost their agricultural activities.
The gesture, which came at a critical period of the farming season, was described by the staff as timely and impactful, especially as many of them rely on farming to support their households. Beyond its economic value, the donation is seen as a symbol of care, encouragement, and leadership that goes beyond the office walls.
Speaking on behalf of the staff, the Director of Administration and Finance, Mr. Murtala Sambo, expressed their heartfelt gratitude:
“Indeed, we are short of words to fully express our delight for this kind gesture shown to us by our leader. We pray that the Almighty God will continue to keep and bless you now and in all your future endeavors.”
Other staff members equally shared their joy, noting that the Focal Person’s action is a true reflection of her motherly role, selflessness, and concern for the welfare of her staff.
The atmosphere during the token presentation was filled with excitement, prayers, and words of appreciation, as the gesture rekindled the spirit of unity, motivation, and commitment among the workforce.
This latest act of generosity further reaffirms the leadership style of Aisha Adamu FCNA, who continues to combine professionalism with empathy in driving the affairs of the Gombe State Social Investment Programme.
