Dear Constituents,

I bring you reassuring news following the recent judgment of the Oyo State High Court, which upheld the legitimacy of the Peoples Democratic Party convention held in Ibadan.

This ruling is not just a victory for our party, but a strong affirmation of democracy and the rule of law. As your representative in the House of Representatives, I firmly believe that Nigeria must never drift into a one-party system. I’m pleased to update you that the National and State Assembly Election Petitions Tribunal sitting in Ibadan has upheld my victory in the August 16, 2025 bye-election.

In a unanimous judgment, the tribunal dismissed the petition filed by the SDP for lacking merit and credible evidence, and also awarded a cost of ₦2 million against the party in favour of the PDP.

This verdict is a clear affirmation of your collective will and the mandate you freely gave. I sincerely appreciate your unwavering support and trust.
