LSADA Launches Digital Helplines to Enhance Support for Lagos Farmers.

LAGOS, NIGERIA – In a strategic move to bridge the communication gap between the government and the agricultural community, the Lagos State Agricultural Development Authority (LSADA) has officially launched four new mobile helplines dedicated to providing real-time technical support to the state’s food producers.

Launched by the Honourable Commissioner at the 2026 Pre-Season Training, this digital innovation is designed to provide smallholder farmers and agripreneurs with a direct link to expert guidance, ensuring that professional advice is only a phone call away.

To ensure maximum reach and accessibility, these helplines will be integrated into two of the state's flagship agricultural media platforms:
"Lagos Farmer"
"Bọluyo"

By featuring these lines prominently during radio broadcasts, LSADA aims to create an interactive environment where stakeholders can seek immediate solutions to challenges ranging from crop management to livestock health and market access.

"This initiative is about more than just technology; it is about inclusivity," the Honourable Commissioner stated during the launch. "We are ensuring that every agripreneur in Lagos, regardless of their location, has a direct line to the resources and expertise they need to thrive."

This move underscores LSADA's commitment to modernising the state's agricultural extension services and fostering a more resilient, tech-driven food system in Lagos.

About LSADA:
The Lagos State Agricultural Development Authority (LSADA) is the extension arm of the Ministry of Agriculture, tasked with providing innovative advisory services and technical support to farmers to increase productivity and ensure food security within the state.
