SPECIAL LETTER
Dearly beloved sons and daughters,
Recently, I was cogitating about the concept of Social Responsibility (SR) as practiced by many individuals and organisations. SR is a deliberate giving or contribution to the welfare of communities that they operate in and interact with. It is about giving for worthy causes.
Without any contradiction, Ydi is a growing community which has been at the forefront of youth development, discipleship and empowerment for over 28 years and with great potential to become a global phenomenon! I can confidently testify that from within our midst, God has blessed us with great sons and daughters who are going places in their businesses and professions.
To God, be all the glory!
While a few of my sons and daughters are volunteering their time and resources to support ydi, others are simply not bothered or passionate about ydi, as they should. Many forgot ydi the moment they graduated from university. I'm using this medium to appeal for a change of heart. For God's sake, how can one forget so soon a ministry that was there for one at foundation? My beloved children in the Lord, giving back to ydi is something you will never regret. Please know that your giving will serve as an insurance cover for your own sons and daughters in the nearest future.
Why is it so crucial to give back to ydi?
Because ydi needs to be empowered more to do more work in the world of young people. Do you know that many young people are dangerously drifting away from God? Do you also know that youths lack proper guidance and mentoring? As true sons and daughters, you will agree with me that ydi can help them get directions to God via proper discipleship. By giving back to ydi, you are immersing yourself in a worthy cause that gladdens the heart of God and gives you a sense of significance. Arise and give towards Segun Afolabi Scholarship Award, a worthy project which we started at the camp Joseph 2023. Arise and give towards ydi village project. It is ongoing.
I have a testimony! It is that the access road to ydi site is being constructed by Ogun state government with funding from World Bank!
God is good!
May I give kudos to my UK sons and daughters for putting up YdiUK Reunion Retreat 2024 which was held at Hilton hotel, Northampton.
Wow! I saw how much love can go in unifying a family or community. The sharing of ideas and experiences gave an impetus to all and sundry. I want to specially thank Tobi and Toyin Ayandare (GO and Mummy GO, YdiUk) for their pioneering role in the establishment and growth of ydi UK. They are truly representing God and me!
How do you give back to ydi?
By giving your tithes, offerings and donations to ydi. You can also volunteer your time and knowledge to impact ydi folks at the youth centre, if you have not japaed.🤣 It is an aberration that some of you have not given to ydi or visited ydi youth centre at all. My beloved sons and daughters, giving is a decision, not a feeling. Decide to give! Be willing to give!
David said, "I will give unto the Lord..."
It is worth noting that many of you who have been giving to ydi do have testimonies of God's rewards. It also gladdens my heart that prophecies of giving in millions has come to pass, as some of you are now giving in millions! So much so that now I'm trusting God for billions for you guys. In my life time and very soon, I shall witness my sons and daughters giving tithes and offerings in billions to ydi in Jesus mighty name.
I pray for you all to turn out as credible templates of greatness. I impart you right now with fresh oil for fresh exploits. Greater achievement is your portion.
None of you will end small this year.
This second half of the year shall be better for you than the first in Jesus mighty name! Please, be rest assured of my love and prayers always! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
