The above quote is all that comes to mind when one reflects on the latest accomplishments of some members of our noble platform at Al-Hikmah University where they were convoked and celebrated for having bagged bachelor’s degree and master’s degree respectively.

Nothing is more jocund in our minds at Omotosho Scholars Platform and Foundation - OSPF today than seeing you coming this far.

The Omotosho Scholars Platform and Foundation- OSPF hereby invites eligible candidates to participate in its .

Procedures

For SSCE Category

- Evidence of Nigerian Citizenship

- Convincingly write a supporting statement (at least 450 words), state why this support should be awarded to you, how it tends to help you and the community at large.

For JAMB Category

- Evidence of Nigerian Citizenship

- Verifiable O’ Level Result

- Convincingly write a supporting statement (at least 450 words), state why this support should be awarded to you, how it tends to help you and the community at large.

Colleges/Diploma:

_Freshers:_

- Evidence of Nigerian Citizenship

- Verifiable (coloured-printed) Admission Letter
- ⁠Convincingly write a supporting statement (at least 450 words), state why this support should be awarded to you, how it tends to help you and the community at large.

_Returning Students:_

- A clear copy of your school ID card

- Evidence of Nigerian Citizenship

- Previous Academic Session Result (coloured-printed)

For PUBLIC Universities:

_Freshers:_

- Evidence of Nigerian Citizenship

_Returning Students:_

Note:

All entries MUST be forwarded (in pdf or docs format but copy of school ID can be in jpg format) to [email protected] latest by 12:00pm on the 10/11/2025 with participant’s name clearly written as file names as illustrated below if your name is OSPF:

• OSPF’s Citizenship Evidence

(Must be either citizenship certificate or birth certificate issued and signed by National Population Commission and must bear similar name on your other documents).

• OSPF’s 2024/2025 Academic Results

If you cannot print your academic session result from your school portal, please get an official letter from your Head of Department, attesting to the details of your result.

OSPF Donates Benches, Desks, Markerboards, Others To Learning Centre

As part of its continuous efforts in facilitating educational supports for the youth, the Omotosho Scholars Platform and Foundation— OSPF has extended its outreach to Al Munji Arabic School in Madi area of Ilorin, Kwara State.

The platform donated benches, desks, marker boards, writing materials to the school to enhance easy and more conducive learning for the students.

The gesture was warmly received by the school’s founder and chief administrator, Dr Salman Murtadoh Onikangu.

Dr Murtadoh expressed deep appreciation to the platform for their “generous donation and unwavering support” on behalf of the management and the community, praying for continued success, wisdom, and growth for platform and its founder.

Speaking at the presentation, the platform’s Coordinator, Malam Habeeb Ajape Abdulrasaq reaffirmed the platform’s commitment to reaching more schools and centers of learning, facilitating supports for students.

Recently, members of this platform have been out, in our usual community outreach, availing learning aids and materials to the youngsters, just to encourage and support their efforts and those of their parents, among other things.

We are very optimistic that efforts like this in our society would not only bring ease to their learning but inspire our youth to be dedicated to learning with purpose of succeeding with strong wills to contribute to the development of our communities and our nation at large.

“Sayyidul Qaom, Aadimuhum”.

Whilst reflecting on Mallam Habeeb Abdulrazaq Ajape’s birth anniversary today, the above are the words that come to mind. A close subjective meaning of them in English is that the leader of a group SHOULD be their servant.

From teaching and guiding the youngsters, to evermore efforts on community development. That is what Mallam has been known for, over the years.

More striking is his wise, brilliant and humble approach to issues. We cannot continue to count and count about him.

As he clocks another year today, we pray Allah SWT bless him more and spare us all in happiness to witness the time when all his painstaking efforts start to pay off.
