Stop waiting for the perfect time, the right mood, or a magical moment when everything aligns.

It’s the decision to act.
It’s the courage to start messy, choosing progress over perfection.

Because while you’re “watching time”…
someone else is building, moving and becoming.

Your life will not change because time passed.
It will change because you moved.

Earlier today, I had the pleasure of receiving the Association of Professional Printers of Nigeria led by their president, Mr. Obafeminiyi Dada.

It was a valuable engagement as we explored opportunities for collaboration, innovation, and strengthening the printing and communications value chain.

Always encouraging to connect with professionals committed to driving standards and growth in their industry.

On Saturday, I joined remarkable women at the Igbomina Women Summit, a moment of reflection, pride, and renewed commitment to our roots.

As a proud daughter of Igbomina land, it was inspiring to see women come together to shape the future of our communities.

The summit brought together leaders, advocates, and stakeholders, our conversations were centered on unity, cultural identity, moral responsibility, and economic empowerment.

I joined my Egbon , the Executive Chairman of KWIRS to celebrate our heritage. We were mandated to dress "Igbomina" and I am loving this iro and buba styling.

Proud of my roots..

Meet Mrs. Adeniran, my JSS1 Yoruba teacher, 36 years later, Her English is still impeccable 👌 and yes, I had a distinction in yoruba because of her. Seeing her last week brought some reality nudge..

Sometimes some things are better understood in your native tongue. Language isn’t just communication; it carries culture, emotion, and identity in ways that translations sometimes can’t fully capture.

Seeing her again was a gentle reminder that true education goes beyond the classroom, it stays with you for life.

Today, we carry phones instead of gongs like the town criers of old but our responsibility is the same: speak clearly, truthfully, and with utmost care.

As we build the modern Kwara under the leadership of H.E. we must remember this: progress does not erase our identity, it amplifies it.

How are you telling the Kwara story?

Keep moving, even when the road feels heavy. There will be days when the weight of the world feels heavier than your shoulders can carry.

Keep moving. Even if it’s slow. Even if it’s messy. Progress is still progress. Every scar tells a story of resilience, every stumble teaches strength, and every tear waters the seeds of your growth.

You owe it to yourself to keep walking forward , not perfectly, but persistently. Because the woman who refuses to stop is the woman who becomes unstoppable.
