Kwara Speaker congratulates APC Chieftain, Dr Alaaya on birthday

The Speaker, Kwara State House of Assembly and APC Governorship candidate, Rt Hon. Engr. Yakubu Danladi-Salihu felicitates Dr Muhammad Ghali Alaaya on his birthday anniversary.

Dr Alaaya is a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress APC and a former non executive director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Limited.

The Speaker, Kwara State House of Assembly and APC governorship candidate Rt Hon. Engr Yakubu Danladi-Salihu heartily congratulates the National President of the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture, Engr. Jani Ibrahim OFR, mni.

The Offa-born industrialist is the 23rd President of NACCIMA.

In a statement issued on Saturday, Rt Hon. Engr. Danladi-Salihu described Engr. Ibrahim as a renowned industrialist who has contributed immensely to the industrial and economic growth of Kwara and Nigeria in general.

The Speaker also commends Engr. Ibrahim's leadership quality and his commitment to the advancement of the enterprise sector and public-private partnership in his capacity as NACCIMA national president.

Barrister Anifowoshe is an author, development consultant and youth and girl-child advocate who hails from the Igbonla community in the Irepodun Local Government Area of the state.

Birthday: Kwara Speaker Celebrates NALVEJ chairman, Alhaji Akanbi

The Speaker, Kwara State House of Assembly and APC governorship candidate, Rt. Hon. Engr. Yakubu Danladi-Salihu, has felicitated with a veteran journalist and media figure, Alhaji Tunde Akanbi, as he marks his birthday today.

In a statement released on Tuesday, the Speaker described Alhaji Akanbi as one of Kwara’s finest media professionals. "Though retired, he remains very active in the industry, particularly in his role as Chairman of the National League of Veteran Journalists, NALVEJ"

According to the Speaker, through NALVEJ, Alhaji Akanbi continues to enlighten the public, promote civic awareness, and keep those in authority accountable.

Rt. Hon. Danladi-Salihu also applauded the NALVEJ Chairman for his contributions to community development and for guiding young journalists to uphold the core values and professional ethics of the profession.

Speaker Danladi congratulates Kwara First Lady at 59

The Speaker, Kwara State House of Assembly and APC governorship candidate, Rt. Hon. Engr. Yakubu Danladi-Salihu, extends warm felicitations to the First Lady of Kwara State, Her Excellency Ambassador Prof. Olufolake Abdulrazaq as she marks 59th birthday anniversary today August 2nd, 2026.

Rt Hon. Engr. Danladi-Salihu commended Amb. Prof. Abdulrazaq who is also the founder of Ajike People Support Centre, for her exemplary leadership and her relentless work in advancing the welfare of Kwarans.

The Speaker noted that her contributions to socio-economic development and her advocacy for women and youth remain a source of inspiration.
