AYOBO-IPAJA LCDA REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO EDUCATION, SUPPORTS JAMB BENEFICIARY

The Ayobo-Ipaja Local Council Development Area (LCDA) has once again demonstrated its commitment to supporting education and empowering young people, following the successful admission of Master Damilare Oluwaseun, a beneficiary of the LCDA’s Free JAMB Form Initiative, into the University of Ilesa.

Yesterday, Master Damilare had the opportunity to visit the office of the Executive Chairman, Hon. (Dr.) Lukmon Abiodun Agbaje, to present his admission documents and express his appreciation for the support he received through the initiative.

The Free JAMB Initiative was introduced as part of the administration’s efforts to reduce financial barriers to education and provide deserving young people with opportunities to pursue their academic aspirations. As part of the commitment, beneficiaries who perform excellently in the JAMB examination and secure admission into tertiary institutions are supported with necessary assistance towards acceptance fees and other essential admission-related expenses.

Hon. Agbaje was delighted to have fulfilled this commitment once again by supporting Master Damilare as he begins this important chapter of his academic journey.

His achievement is a testament to the value of investing in young people and creating opportunities for them to succeed. His Ijọba Ìrọ̀rùn - led administration, education remains a key priority and a vital pathway to building a brighter and more prosperous future for Ayobo-Ipaja.

Hon. (Dr.) Agbaje praised the officers for their dedication to community safety and emphasized that maintaining good health is crucial for effective service delivery. NIGERIA @ 66: AGBAJE FELICITATES RESIDENTS, COMMENDS REFORMS AND GRASSROOTS DEVELOPMENT

The Executive Chairman of Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA, Hon. Dr. Lukman Agbaje, has congratulated residents of Ayobo-Ipaja, Lagosians and Nigerians at home and abroad on the occasion of Nigeria’s 66th Independence Anniversary.

Hon. Agbaje commended the resilience and patriotic spirit of Nigerians, while acknowledging the economic and institutional reforms undertaken by the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu since assuming office, describing them as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the nation’s economy and create opportunities for sustainable development.

He also recognised the developmental strides of the Lagos State Government under Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, particularly through the THEMES Plus Agenda, which continues to guide interventions in infrastructure, transportation, healthcare, education, economic development, security and social inclusion.

At the grassroots, the Chairman reaffirmed the commitment of Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA, under the banner of Ijọba Irọrun, to using available resources and the increased opportunities provided by local government autonomy to deliver more responsive governance, infrastructure, empowerment initiatives and essential services to residents.

AGBAJE COMMENDS AIRTEL AFRICA FOUNDATION AS AYOBO-IPAJA LCDA COMMISSIONS AI/ICT CENTRE AT UNA PRIMARY SCHOOL, IPAJA

The Executive Chairman of Ayobo-Ipaja Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. (Dr.) Agbaje Lukmon Abiodun, has commended the Airtel Africa Foundation for its contribution to grassroots education following the commissioning of an Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Centre at UNA Primary School, Ipaja.

The facility was commissioned during a ceremony held at the school premises, with the Executive Chairman performing the tape-cutting ceremony alongside stakeholders.

Speaking at the event, Hon. Agbaje described the centre as a timely intervention that will expose pupils to modern technology and equip them with relevant skills for an increasingly digital world.

He noted that early exposure to ICT and emerging technologies would help young learners develop the knowledge, creativity, and adaptability required to navigate future educational and employment opportunities.

The Chairman stated that the initiative complements the Ijọba Irọrun Administration's commitment to quality education, digital inclusion, youth development, and human capital development across Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA.

He expressed appreciation to the Airtel Africa Foundation for partnering with the community and supporting efforts to improve learning facilities in public schools. He emphasised that meaningful collaboration between government and responsible private-sector organisations is essential to delivering sustainable interventions at the grassroots.

Hon. Agbaje assured that the Council remains open to credible partnerships that complement government efforts and provide tangible benefits to residents, particularly in education, technology, and youth development.
