BATCHING FOR GST MOP-UP EXAMINATIONS

This is to inform all concerned students that batching for the Special Mop-Up examinations slated for Wednesday, 31 January, 2024 has been done.

The affected students are therefore requested to login to the University portal

and print their examination card.

The examination card as well as the student ID card are requisite documents for access to the examination hall

Any student without the two cards will not be allowed access to the examination hall.

The schedule for the examination is as follows:

Extension of Dateline for 2023/2024 Online Application of UTME and Direct Entry Candidates

This is to inform all UTME and Direct Entry candidates who have applied for admission into Taraba State University, Jalingo for 2023/2024 academic session that the Vice-Chancelor, Prof. Sunday Paul Bako has approved the extension of dateline for closure of portal for the online application to Monday, 22 January, 2024.

Applicants are to note that only candidates who uploads their O'level result(s) in JAMB Portal and also participated in the University's online application exercise will be considered for admission.

In addition, any false declaration can lead to a candidate's disqualification at any stage of the admission process.

Senate Business Committee consideration of all 1st Semester Results for 2022/2023 Academic Session recommendations received from the Faculties.

22nd-24th January, 2024

Correction of SBC 1st Semester Results for onward presentation to Senate.

CONTINUATION OF FIRST SEMESTER EXAMINATIONS FOR 2022/2023 ACADEMIC SESSION

Based on the suspension of strike action embarked upon by the NLC/TUC and subsequent compliance by the Unions in the University, I write to inform all staff and students that the Vice-Chancellor has approved the continuation of First Semester Examinations for 2022/2023 Academic Session as from tomorrow ((Friday) 17th November, 2023. However, the examinations that will be conducted on Saturday has been shifted owing to the forthcoming Local Government Election in the State

All missed/shifted examinations (15th, 16th and 18th November, 2023) will be fixed and conducted at the end of the examinations exercise.

By this notice, all Deans, HODs and staff of the University are requested to act on this expeditiously, please.

To this end, the University Management wishes all the students best of luck in their examinations.

2023/2024 Online screening of UTME and Direct Entry Candidates

This is to inform all UTME and Direct Entry candidates who have applied for admission into Taraba State University Jalingo for 2023/2024 academic session that the online post UTME screening exercise is scheduled to commence from 20 November, 2023-8 January, 2024.

Method of Application

I. Log into www.university.edu.t

ii. Click on payment for post UTME

iii. Select mode of entry: UTME or Direct Entry (DE)

iv. Fill in all the required information as contained in the online form and upload all relevant credentials and click submit

V. You will be redirected to use your card (master. Visa or Verve Card) to make payment

vi. Prim payment receipt and acknowledgement ship

Eligibility:

i. Only UTME and Direct Entry candidates who selected Taraba State University Jalingo as their first choice of Institution are eligible for the online screening exercise

ii. UTME candidates must have scored not less than 140 in the 2023 UTME and obtained five (5) o level relevant credits including Mathematics and English at not more than two sittings

iii. Direct Entry (DE) candidates must have obtained a minimum of Lower Credit at Diploma, NCE and UMB with relevant five (5) o'level credits at not more than two sittings
