This morning, I joined the Ward EXCO, critical stakeholders, and party members in Dawaki Ward, Kanke LGA, for a strategic grassroots engagement session. Our focus was to strengthen party participation and ensure we are fully prepared for the upcoming elections. We held robust discussions centered on unity and inclusion, reaffirming our commitment to carrying everyone along as we build a stronger, more cohesive political family. In a humbling moment, the Ward Chairman formally presented me with the party flag, a powerful symbol that I have been fully received into the fold of our APC ward family not just as a member but leader.

Beyond the conversations, we moved to action sensitizing members on the importance of completing the party's e-registration and confirming their voter registration status. These two steps are fundamental to securing our collective strength at the polls.

The energy and dedication displayed by the people of Dawaki Ward, capped by the warm reception signified by the APC flag presentation to me, reassured me that our grassroots foundation remains solid. Together, we are building a movement that truly represents the will of the people.

Today, in Jebbu Miango, Bassa LGA of Plateau State, we reached a significant milestone in our community support efforts. Through the Claire Aide Foundation platform, we connected with 30 widows whose husbands were tragically lost to terrorist attacks in the Miango communities. Our engagement was designed as a direct, compassionate response to their profound loss, focusing on honoring the memory of their loved ones while laying the groundwork for sustainable healing and independence.

The core of our intervention was a practical empowerment program centered on agroforestry. We provided each widow with high-breed economic tree varieties, coupled with a training session on essential agronomic practices to ensure their successful cultivation. To help them embark on this journey, we also offered a stipend to alleviate initial costs, enabling them to establish these trees as both a source of future livelihood and a meaningful, living tribute to their late husbands.

This initiative transcends mere agricultural aid; it is a humanitarian gesture of remembrance and resilience. By planting these trees, the women are not only cultivating a path toward financial autonomy but also rooting their memories in growth and life. We stand in solidarity with them, believing that from this act of support, dignity and hope can steadily take root and flourish.

I'm honored to join our Executive Governor, Barr Caleb Manasseh and the good people of Plateau in celebrating our state's rich history and bright future.

We're committed to supporting our governor's vision and working towards uncontested victories in the upcoming elections.
