Some Private Schools Be Like

St. Blah blah blah academy: Congratulations, sir/madam! Your son has been offered admission to our school. The school fee amounts to N300,000, with an additional PTA fee of N10,000 per term(totalling N30,000 per session). Additionally, three sets of uniform will be required, totaling N75,000, but you have the option to pay for them in installments.

Parent: But sir, my wife is a tailor, and she has already made all the uniforms.

St. Blah blah blah academy: I'm sorry, but that goes against school policy. However, you are allowed to pay for the uniforms in installments. We understand the hardships and financial challenges facing the nation.

Parent: Don't you think the N30,000 PTA levy per session is excessive? As a private school, one would expect that all costs are covered within the fee.

St. Blah blah blah academy: I'm sorry, sir, but I didn't create the rules. You can contact the PTA chairman or secretary for further clarification. These policies have been in place since the school was established. NEXT parent please!😡
