My attention has been drawn to a malicious and false statement by one Ogbeni Gbenga Olanrewaju. His grievances is derived from an online poster where it was listed out areas the Senator will consolidate on if return for another term and according to the publication the areas are Human Capital Development, Massive Empowerment Programmes, Legislative Support. Before given further explanation as regards this, recall, yesterday through his media office, Senator Smart Adeyemi distance himself from any online campaigns and publications calling for his return to the national assembly, the Senator made it clear that there are national assignment he is presently committed to, in the press statement he also made it clear that the leadership of party will decide who becomes in the best interest of Kogi West, and that he is certain and resolute that under the capable leadership of Governor Yahaya Bello the right choice will be made for Kogi West Senatorial District at the material time. More clarifications will be made on other issues raised by the writer so that the public will not be misguided by this social media urchin.
In all sincerity Distinguished Senator Smart Adeyemi had performed exemplarily well in all these areas, for instance DSSA had provided many Motorized Boreholes, Transformers, Street Lights, Health Insurance Scheme for Pregnant Women amongst many falls in this category.
In the area of Massive Empowerment Programmes, Senator Smart Adeyemi has been doing this wonderfully well in time past where he distributed over 400 cars to our royal fathers, party faithfuls, loyalist and to many constituents, he also sponsored over 400 to Mecca and Jerusalem respectively, distributed many deep freezers, grinding machines, motorcycles, over 500 foreign beds across hospitals in Kogi State, 22 ambulances across Kogi State and beyond, facilitated viable projects, contributed immensely towards community projects to mention few.
Recall, Distinguished Senator Smart Adeyemi embarked on his Mega Empowerment on 1st January, 2022 and many stakeholders, beneficiaries and constituents appreciated DSSA and poured encomiums on him for his human capacity development and quality representation.
On 30th of December,2021 Senator Smart Adeyemi flagged off and presents ATM cards to the beneficiaries of his 20 Million Naira Students Bursary Award, money was deposited in the various accounts and the student leaders and the beneficiaries show their heartfelt appreciation for the gesture. The students association had written appreciation note to thank the Senator, if there was no kobo on ground to fund the account as claimed by the deceitful writer would the students be motivated to make such public appreciation?
The reason for this clarifications is not far fetched, the writer claimed the empowerments was audio,lies and deceits with the above clarifications it already defeated the propganda as there are evidences to substantiate the events.
On Legislative Support, Senator Smart Adeyemi is a fantastic Senator who had proposed bills that will have positive impacts on the people, few amongst the bills sponsored by Distinguished Senator Smart Adeyemi are; Bill for the establishment of Federal Institute of Fisheries and Aquatic Studies Kotonkarfe Kogi State, the bill for the establishment of Federal University of Medicine and Medical Sciences Egbe, the bill for the upgrade of Medical Centre Lokoja to Teaching Hospital Lokoja, the Legal Education Bill which proposed additional law schools, and out of which is Law School, Kabba Campus, the bill for the conversion of College of Agriculture Kabba to a full fledged University, Rental Regulation Bill to mention few and all these bills are in there advanced stages. Aside these Senator Smart Adeyemi is a voice to many Nigerians, he speaks passionately and address issues from the point view of the masses and many Nigerians can testify to his capability and charisma.
The writer in his falsehood story also said the Senator is very rude and arrogant when asked to performed, this is nothing but fallacious statement, Senator Smart Adeyemi is well cultured and respect the people, in the first place there was no demand where the Senator was asked to performed because he is performing outstandingly, doing what is expected of him as a noble legislature and the testimonies is everywhere on the lips and mouths of the majority of his
constituents, kogi state and beyond.
On his third claim, the Senator is conscious about the needs of the people, on the establishment of Federal University of Medicine and Medical Sciences Egbe, the good people of Egbe appreciate this great move by Distinguished Senator Smart Adeyemi, Gbenga Olarewaju you cannot instigate the people of Egbe against Senator Smart Adeyemi, the Senator had enjoyed a long term relationship with good tidings with Egbe people, there had not been a frosty relationship. Iam calling on the people of Egbe to be weary of this Ogbeni Gbenga Olarewaju who is bent on imposing his political master on the people by crooks, the reason for his smearing story, it is clear that the said gbenga is one of the few praying for the non realization of the proposed bill by Senator Smart Adeyemi for the establishment of the befitting federal medicine and medical sciences to Egbe because of his personal agenda and also for a political reason.
The false Gbenga with his concocted article also claimed Senator Smart Adeyemi is doing all he could to emerge as the Senate President to boycott the presidential bid of His Excellency, Governor Yahaya Bello, there is no iota of truth in all these, Senator Smart Adeyemi is a staunch believer of GYB2PYB Project, the Senator had been working assiduously to convince his colleagues at the National Assembly, many party stakeholders, his constituents and as many he came in contact with telling them the reason why the Governor Yahaya Bello Project for villa is ideal, most appropriate and important for the progress, development and prosperity of our dear country Nigeria.
To buttress this further, one of Senator Smart Adeyemi festive packages for his constituents and other tribes who are residents in kogi west, it was boldly written GYB2PYB Agenda, it explains further how far the Senator had gone in promoting the candidature of our beloved Governor Yahaya Bello.
Senator Smart Adeyemi had facilitated job opportunities to many constituents and people across irrespective of tribe and religion, the records are there to clear your doubt.
The Senator had many projects he had achieved, the Health Insurance Scheme for Pregnant Women, Mega Empowerment where 50 Keke Napep was dolled out, over 100 Grinding Machines, over 130 Sewing Machines, over 20 Motorcycles, Over 30 Computer Sets, water bump was distributed courtesy of DSSA, Senator Smart had also provided Motorised Boreholes, Transformers, Street Lights in their numbers to many Communities across Kogi West, his 20 Million Naira Bursary Award Project amongst many others.
It's needless comparing the 3 Senators from Kogi State, the trio are progressive and working towards ensuring their respective constituents enjoy dividends of democracy.
Ogbeni Gbenga Olarewaju is a hired paid writer who has been paid off to mortgage and mislead the general public as he lacks sellable points to promote his political master the reason he resorted to throwing jabs and propganda against DSSA.
The general public is hereby advised to be careful of ogbeni Gbenga Olanrewaju, disregard in it's entirety his heap of lies and also resist his ulterior motives.
