Capacity Movement Pledges Support for Senator Shehu Sani at Solidarity Meeting

The National President of the Capacity Movement, Shehu S. Sado, led members of the movement, including seven Local Government Coordinators and their respective Women Leaders, on a solidarity visit and engagement with Senator Shehu Sani.

Speaking during the meeting, Shehu S. Sado reaffirmed the Capacity Movement’s commitment to supporting the success of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the grassroots, state and national levels. He also pledged the movement’s support towards the success of Senator Shehu Sani, while emphasizing the importance of unity, cooperation and collective efforts in advancing the interests of the party and its members.

Sado also acknowledged the leadership and development efforts of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Senator Uba Sani, expressing the movement’s readiness to continue supporting initiatives aimed at strengthening the APC and promoting good governance.

In his remarks, Senator Shehu Sani spoke warmly about his longstanding relationship with Ambassador Yerima Shettima, describing him as a man of integrity and trustworthiness. He recalled their shared political struggles and experiences over the years, emphasizing the values of loyalty, resilience and commitment that have characterized their relationship.

The Capacity Movement expressed appreciation to Senator Shehu Sani for receiving the delegation and reaffirmed its readiness to work with him and other stakeholders towards strengthening unity and cooperation within the political family. The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to continued engagement, grassroots mobilisation and support for the success of the APC and Senator Shehu Sani.

CAPACITY MOVEMENT MOURNS WITH MR. CHRIS YABO EMPHRAIM OVER THE LOSS OF HIS BELOVED FATHER

The National Leadership and entire family of the Capacity Movement extend our deepest condolences to our esteemed State Secretary, Mr. Chris Yabo Emphraim, and his entire family on the passing of his beloved father, Baba Ephraim Jatau Kunyiek, who departed this life at the age of 115.

The loss of a father is deeply painful, especially of a patriarch whose life spanned generations and whose presence undoubtedly represented strength, wisdom, guidance and family heritage. At such a difficult moment, words may never be sufficient to ease the pain of this profound loss.

We pray that Almighty God grants the soul of Baba Ephraim Jatau Kunyiek eternal rest and gives Mr. Chris Yabo Emphraim, his family, relatives and loved ones the strength, comfort and courage to bear this irreplaceable loss.

As a movement and as a family, we stand firmly with our State Secretary in this period of grief. May the memories, values and legacy of his father continue to live through the generations he left behind.

May his soul rest in perfect peace. Amen.

CAPACITY MOVEMENT APPRECIATES SA’AD BALA USMAN FOR GENEROUS GESTURE

The leadership of the Capacity Movement warmly appreciates Sa’ad Bala Usman for his thoughtful and generous gesture of presenting a customised refrigerator to the Chairman of the Board of Trustees (BOT), Amb. Yerima Shettima, and the National President, Shehu S. Sado, as a demonstration of his commitment and support for the movement.

The valuable gift was formally received on behalf of the leadership by the Chairman of the BOT, Amb. Yerima Shettima, the National President, Shehu S. Sado, and Hon. Danjuma Paul (Don-J).

The leadership expressed its profound appreciation for the kind gesture, describing it as a meaningful demonstration of friendship, solidarity, and commitment to the ideals and activities of the Capacity Movement.

They further assured Sa’ad Bala Usman of their continued friendship, goodwill, and support, noting that the relationship remains one built on mutual respect, trust, and shared commitment.

The Capacity Movement believes that gestures of this nature strengthen bonds among members and supporters while encouraging greater unity and collective participation in the movement.

APC CAUCUS PAYS SOLIDARITY VISIT TO YERIMA SHETTIMA, SHEHU S. SADO AND POLITICAL FAMILY

A delegation of prominent members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kaduna State, led by the Honourable Commissioner for Local Government Affairs. Hon Sadiq Mamman Lagos, alongside Senator Shehu Sani, Rayyyan Hussein and other members of the APC caucus, paid a solidarity visit to Amb. Yerima Shettima, Shehu S. Sado and their political family.

The visit was primarily aimed at strengthening unity within the APC, fostering greater understanding among party stakeholders, and bringing together aspirants and political leaders towards a common commitment to the growth and success of the party.

During the engagement, the delegation emphasised the importance of unity, consultation and mutual respect among party members, particularly as the political process leading to the 2027 elections continues to take shape. The meeting provided an avenue for stakeholders to interact, reconcile interests and reaffirm their collective commitment to working together for the advancement of the APC.

Amb. Yerima Shettima and Shehu S. Sado welcomed the delegation and expressed appreciation for the solidarity visit. They reaffirmed their commitment to constructive engagement with all stakeholders and to supporting efforts aimed at strengthening the party’s structures at both the Kaduna State and national levels.

The Capacity Movement, under the distinguished leadership of its National President, Shehu S. CAPACITY MOVEMENT COMMENDS YERIMA SHETTIMA, CONGRATULATES VINCENT DAVID IRMIYA ON APPOINTMENT

The National Leadership of the Capacity Movement, under the distinguished leadership of its National President, Shehu S. Sado, has expressed its profound appreciation to the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Amb. Yerima Shettima, for his recommendation of the Coordinator of the Chikun Local Government Area chapter of the Capacity Movement, Mr. Vincent David Irmiya, for appointment as Senior Special Adviser (SSA) on Grassroots Development Projects.

The Movement describes the appointment as a significant recognition of the commitment, loyalty and grassroots contributions of its members to the development and political advancement of Kaduna State. It particularly commends Amb. Yerima Shettima for identifying and recommending a committed member of the Movement for such an important responsibility.

The Capacity Movement equally extends its sincere appreciation to the Executive Governor of Kaduna State, His Excellency, Senator Senator Uba Sani, for considering the Capacity Movement family in his administration’s broader commitment to political inclusivity and participatory governance.

The Movement believes that the appointment of Mr. Vincent David Irmiya demonstrates that the Governor’s administration recognises the importance of carrying stakeholders and grassroots political structures along in the affairs of government. It further expresses confidence that the new appointee will bring his wealth of grassroots experience, dedication and commitment to bear in discharging his responsibilities.

The National Leadership congratulates Mr. Vincent David Irmiya on his well-deserved appointment and urges him to see the new responsibility as an opportunity to further serve the people, strengthen grassroots development and contribute meaningfully to the success of the administration of Governor Uba Sani.
